K&B Campground is conveniently located at 203 E Wayne St, Randolph, NE 68771, USA. This address places it right on the edge of Randolph, offering the best of both worlds: the peace and quiet of a semi-rural setting, coupled with the accessibility of a small town. Its location on the outskirts means less traffic and noise, contributing to a more serene camping experience. The gravel parking areas within the campground are designed for ease of use, accommodating various sizes of RVs and allowing for smooth pull-through access, which is a significant advantage for larger rigs or those just looking for a quick, hassle-free setup. The mowed grass elsewhere around the sites adds to the well-maintained appearance of the park. Being on the edge of Randolph ensures that campers are just a short distance from any necessities the town might offer, such as local shops, fuel, or dining options. This blend of quietude and convenience makes K&B Campground an attractive choice for both overnight stops and extended stays, allowing easy come-and-go access to local attractions or onward journeys.
K&B Campground is designed to provide the core amenities that RVers and campers rely on for a comfortable and convenient stay. Their focus is on delivering essential services efficiently to ensure a hassle-free experience.
- Full Hookups: A key feature of K&B Campground is the provision of full hookups. This means each site offers connections for electricity, water, and sewer, allowing RVs to be completely self-contained and comfortable. This is highly valued by RVers for both short and longer stays.
- Pull-Through Sites: The campground features pull-through sites. This design makes parking and unparking an RV significantly easier, especially for those with larger rigs or for campers who prefer not to back into a spot. It streamlines the arrival and departure process.
- Gravel Parking: The sites are equipped with gravel parking, providing a stable and relatively clean surface for RVs. While one review mentioned "mud hole sites" and a need for concrete slabs, the typical offering is gravel, which is practical for most conditions.
- Owner Assistance: A significant service highlight is the helpfulness of the owner, who is noted for assisting campers with parking and hookups. This personalized service can greatly enhance the guest experience, particularly for those new to RVing or arriving after a long drive.
- Quiet Environment: The campground is situated on the edge of a small town, contributing to a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. This is ideal for campers seeking relaxation and a respite from urban noise.
- Mowed Grass Areas: Beyond the gravel pads, the presence of mowed grass elsewhere in the campground indicates attention to maintaining a neat and pleasant environment for guests.
K&B Campground offers several features and highlights that contribute to its appeal as a quiet and convenient RV destination in Nebraska. While there was a mixed review regarding site conditions and management during a specific instance, the consistently positive aspects highlighted by other visitors paint a clear picture of its overall strengths.
- Tranquil Small-Town Setting: The campground's location on the edge of Randolph provides a peaceful and quiet environment, making it perfect for relaxation. This is a significant draw for campers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of larger towns or cities.
- Full Hookup Convenience: The availability of full hookups (electric, water, sewer) at each site is a major highlight, offering maximum convenience and comfort for RVers. This allows campers to fully utilize their RV's amenities without needing to seek out external facilities.
- Easy Pull-Through Access: The presence of pull-through sites simplifies parking, especially for larger rigs, reducing stress upon arrival and departure. This is a valuable feature for both seasoned and novice RVers.
- Personalized Owner Service: The owner's willingness to assist with parking and hookups is a standout feature, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction and providing a welcoming, helpful atmosphere. This hands-on approach can greatly enhance the camping experience.
- Ideal for Short Stays: Described as a "perfect place to spend the night or a couple days to relax," the campground is well-suited for overnight stops or short, rejuvenating breaks during longer journeys.
- Well-Maintained Appearance: The "mowed grass elsewhere" indicates an effort to maintain a tidy and pleasant environment around the gravel parking areas.
- Proximity to Randolph: Being on the edge of a small town means easy access to any local services or attractions Randolph might offer, blending the peace of camping with the convenience of nearby amenities.
- Potential for Consistent Quality: While one review noted issues, the positive feedback on its quiet nature, full hookups, and owner helpfulness suggests that under normal conditions, the campground provides a reliable and pleasant experience.
At K&B Campground, the primary "promotion" or special offer is its consistent provision of essential RV amenities at a straightforward rate. While specific, limited-time discounts or complex promotional packages are not publicly detailed, the value proposition lies in its clear pricing structure and the conveniences offered. For RVers, transparent pricing without hidden fees is often preferred over fleeting discounts. Customer Reviews
Very nice, quiet, on the edge of a small town. Gravel parking, mowed grass elsewhere. Full hookup, pull thru. Perfect place to spend the night or a couple days to relax. Owner was very helpful to get us parked and hooked up. $40.
Not manged well at all. Said they had a concrete slab site, arrived, all were taken work trailer taking one site, all that was left was 2 mud hole sites. for $45 no thanks.
Just a class act establishment. I pulled in two weeks ago, paid for a month because job here was supposed to last til november. Received a call from my employer Fri 8/12/2022 telling me that I'm starting on a new job site Monday in Orange City, Iowa. So I called Kevin the Owner and he pro rated a weekly rate and refund the remaining dollar amount. Love this RV park, small, safe , and quiet. Kevin the owner is really a class act. Thanks so much for the hospitality. Recommend this place for anyone seeking a RV park in these parts of the United States.
I've stayed here throughout the brutal winter and anytime I had a problem Kevin or Bob would always come out and help fix the problem. Mostly stuff freezing. They had it fixed in no time. The small town hospitality was nice. Randolph has almost everything you'll need.
Nice large spot and pad for our 5th wheel. The owner was very nice. No restrooms or showers. It would be good for a over night stop, but it is expensive for what you get.
