King's Row RV Park About

For many residents of Nevada, particularly those in the vibrant Las Vegas area, the RV lifestyle offers a unique blend of freedom, community, and often, a more accessible path to comfortable living. An RV park can serve as a temporary haven for travelers, a seasonal base for snowbirds, or even a permanent residence for those who embrace mobile living. Finding the right RV park that aligns with one's expectations for safety, maintenance, and community atmosphere is paramount. In Las Vegas, one such option is King's Row RV Park, located on the well-known Boulder Highway.

Like any residential community, RV parks have their own distinct character, shaped by their management, policies, and the residents themselves. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and factual overview of King's Row RV Park. We will delve into its location, the services it typically offers, and highlight key features, drawing from publicly available information and contrasting perspectives from real customers. Our goal is to equip local users in Nevada with the necessary insights to make an informed decision about whether King's Row RV Park is a suitable choice for their RV living or temporary stay needs.

Location and Accessibility

King's Row RV Park is situated at 3660 Boulder Hwy, Las Vegas, NV 89121, USA. This address places the park directly on Boulder Highway, a significant and historic corridor in the eastern part of the Las Vegas Valley. Its location offers a distinct blend of accessibility to urban amenities and a slightly more removed feel from the intense tourist core of the Strip.

Boulder Highway serves as a major route connecting Las Vegas with Boulder City and Henderson, making the RV park highly accessible for locals traveling within the valley or those arriving from points east. Along Boulder Highway, residents will find a wide array of services including grocery stores, pharmacies, automotive repair shops, gas stations, and various dining establishments, ensuring that daily needs are easily met. The proximity to local casinos and entertainment venues along the Boulder Highway corridor, while not the Strip, still offers ample options for leisure and dining just a short drive or even walk away. Access to public transportation routes along this major road can also be a convenience for those who prefer not to drive. For RVers, the direct access from a main highway minimizes the challenge of navigating large vehicles through residential streets. This strategic location offers a balance of convenience and a local Las Vegas flavor, distinct from the downtown or Strip experiences, making it a practical choice for residents who prefer to be connected to local life.

Services Offered

RV parks like King's Row typically offer a range of essential services to ensure a comfortable stay for their residents and guests. While specific details can vary, based on common industry practices and the nature of an RV park, here are the services generally expected at King's Row RV Park:

  • RV Sites with Hookups: The park provides designated sites for RVs, which typically include full hookups (electricity, water, and sewer connections) to accommodate various types of recreational vehicles.

  • On-Site Management/Office Staff: There is an office or management team responsible for overseeing daily operations, handling check-ins, processing payments, addressing inquiries, and enforcing park rules.

  • Security Measures: Given the nature of a residential park, security features like staff presence, or potentially controlled access, are common to ensure the safety of residents and their property. One review specifically mentions "security staff."

  • Maintenance of Common Areas: The park management is generally responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, internal roads, and landscaping within the park, as implied by mentions of "maintaining the beauty of the park."

  • Restroom and Shower Facilities: Most RV parks provide communal restrooms and showers for guests who may not have full facilities in their RV or prefer to use park amenities.

  • Laundry Facilities: On-site laundry facilities are typically available for residents to use, providing a convenient amenity, especially for those on longer stays.

  • Pet-Friendly Environment: While not explicitly stated in all public data, many RV parks, including those geared towards long-term stays, are pet-friendly, as hinted by reviews mentioning dogs. Specific pet policies would apply.

Features / Highlights

King's Row RV Park presents several features that are important for prospective residents to consider, particularly as feedback from customers offers contrasting perspectives:

  • Emphasis on Safety and Maintenance: One review strongly highlights that the park management is "strict but it's because they really do care about keeping us safe and maintaining the beauty of the park!" This suggests a focus on order, rules, and upkeep for the benefit of residents.

  • Respectful Community Environment: Positive feedback emphasizes the importance of "respect for yourself and for the other residents/ staff members in the park," suggesting a community where mutual respect is encouraged and valued.

  • Long-Term Residency Option: The park is recommended for "temporary or permanent place to live," indicating its suitability for individuals and families looking for longer-term RV living solutions in Las Vegas.

  • Dedication to Landscaping (Watering Trees): A unique highlight mentioned is the park's "adamant" stance on watering trees daily, acknowledging the dry Las Vegas heat. This demonstrates a commitment to maintaining greenery and mitigating the desert climate.

  • Clean and Well-Kept Appearance: Positive reviews describe the park as "beautiful" and "well-kept," suggesting that the management's efforts in maintenance are noticeable to some residents.

  • Security Presence: The presence of "security staff" is noted, indicating an effort to maintain a secure environment, though the effectiveness and judgment of this staff are subject to differing opinions.

  • Contrasting Perspectives on Management: It is crucial to note the sharp contrast in reviews regarding management. While some praise strictness and care, others describe management as "crooks" who "don't care," are "always gone," and "don't return phone calls." This suggests a significant variability in resident experience and management responsiveness.

  • Concerns about Resident Relations and Safety: Negative feedback includes claims of "crazy tenants making decisions for management," "rude" residents, and serious accusations about security staff providing "bad advice" and being a "walking liability," leading to a feeling of being unsafe. The phrase "A lawsuit waiting to happen" reflects severe dissatisfaction.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

When considering King's Row RV Park, locals in Nevada, particularly those in the Las Vegas area, should approach their decision with a thorough understanding of the contrasting experiences reported by current and former residents. The park's suitability will heavily depend on an individual's priorities and their comfort level with the potential challenges highlighted in feedback.

From a practical standpoint, King's Row RV Park offers a compelling option for those seeking a long-term or permanent RV living solution in Las Vegas. The positive reviews emphasize its potential as a "beautiful well-kept park" with a management that "care about keeping us safe and maintaining the beauty." The commitment to daily tree watering in the dry Las Vegas heat underscores an effort to maintain a pleasant environment. For those who value strict rules as a means to ensure safety and order within a community, and who are seeking a more permanent RV spot, these aspects might align well with their needs. The location on Boulder Highway also provides convenient access to local amenities and is a familiar corridor for many Las Vegas residents, offering a sense of established community rather than a purely transient feel.

However, it is absolutely crucial for prospective residents to carefully consider the serious concerns raised in negative reviews. Accusations of non-responsive owners, questionable security advice, and a general feeling of being unsafe, coupled with descriptions of "rude" residents and a "crappiest place on Boulder," represent significant red flags. These conflicting accounts suggest that the resident experience can vary dramatically.

Therefore, while King's Row RV Park may be suitable for locals looking for a permanent RV spot in Las Vegas who prioritize a structured environment and are willing to navigate potential management challenges, it is paramount to conduct extensive due diligence. This should include direct, in-person visits to the park, careful review of all rules and regulations, and an attempt to speak with multiple current residents to gain a balanced and current perspective. For locals, a detailed investigation before committing is essential to ensure that King's Row RV Park truly meets their expectations for a safe, respectful, and well-managed home.

We just recently chose this place to reside in Las Vegas! We hope to be here for many years! They are strict but it's because they really do care about keeping us safe and maintaining the beauty of the park! It's all about respect for yourself and for the other residents/ staff members in the park! Mark and I are pleased with our new home and look forward to watering the trees daily! They are adamant about this and it makes perfect sense if you've ever been to Vegas to experience the dry heat! We would recommend this beautiful well- kept park to anyone looking for a temporary or permanent place to live! Hope to see you there soon!😁 Mark & Shelley Sitterud

Crappiest place on Boulder. Security hasn't a clue, and gives bad advise, a walking liability. Crazy tenants making decisions for management because they think they can. If you think your safe, you better think again. Owners don't care. They are always gone and don't return phone calls. A lawsuit waiting to happen. Most residents are rude. Now I understand why. Icky ick ick.

We give Kings Row RV Park 5 stars. Good location and great price. The place is quiet, the bathrooms are clean and the staff is awesome. We had to leave our pets in our trailer with the air con on. It was hot and we were going to a show. We asked the staff to call us if the power went out. We did get a text telling us that all’s well. That’s great service. Thank you. We will be back.
