This is a beautiful 55 plus community. Very friendly people. Activities and a nice swimming pool. 2 years here and I really loved it.
The association fees are high, and they do not weed back the property even though you pay for lawn maintenance. So the elderly fixed income are responsible to pay additional fees to beautify the property because most residents have medical issues. There occasionally are termite issues so to my knowledge they do not treat the grounds at least once annually with pest control. Unfortunately like most places today they like to communicate didgetally with there residents when most may not be internet savvy enough to follow important information.
Good and decent place for over 55 Community. Gated, yes! Although few times I being there I saw the gate wide open. They told me they close it after 5pm and guests should dial a code for assistance. Overall seems clean and organized, while the administration fee is a little high $500+ they are pet friendly, kids are not allowed. It looks like a really quiet community.
My sister is looking for a place here and we visited Kissimmee Gardens. It is a nice neighborhood. People seem friendly. Clean area. Some properties could use a little help, but most are nice. Most of the homes are well maintained. Entrance is clean and easy to get to. Not to far from normal shopping centers like groceries.
Nothing negative to say about this place. Office ppl are great and "Fran" is an amazing manager. The community is amazingly beautiful and clean. I'm selling for family reasons but if I return to Florida I'll definitely move back to KG.
