Customer Reviews
Before this place was sold to a out of state company it was a great place to live. Now lot rent has almost doubled and there's thieves that have moved into the park. I personally have had people steal from my house and broken into my place. And lot rent is still going up every year and the new owners refuse to put in security cameras. I can't wait to get out of here.
Geramy D is a totally fake review! There is/was? a Jeremy who is a heartless disrespectful manager overseeing numerous trailer parks in southern Illinois for the owner. Most people in the Knotty Pines community are good people that respect the rules and take care of their homes. Then you have the trailer trash. Some don't believe in mowing grass more than every 2 weeks. Management should have someone mow it and bill those people and it would change. Some have dogs exceeding the 30 pound rule and some have 2 dogs over 30 pounds. Dogs not on a leash. A few people who leave there trash can along the street for days and we have one that has be sitting now going on 2 weeks. Some won't even replace broken mini blinds. Some don't wash the algae off there home. Why don't the same rules apply to all residents? There are a few trailers that are falling apart and should no longer be allowed in here. The owner will not fix or maintain concrete driveways. Some are completely broken up. They won't trim trees. How about a storm shelter? They say it's the renters responsibility.,yet the lot rent goes up every year. They say they are a family friendly community. How about a play area for our kids? How about some speed bumps to slow down the disrespectful people who fly up and down the street every time they are driving. Speed limit signs say 20 mph as you enter Knotty Pines but the only ones that obviously know how to read are the older people or people who are looking to possibly see what homes are for sale. I know I have seen people driving at least double the speed limit day in and day out. We do have a nice lady named Shirley who is the on site manager and I know you will respond to this post. After I saw the fake post by Geramy D, I had to say my part.
Great location and the mangament is extremely friendly, kind and caring. The prices are more than affordable and the staff does a great job keeping the community in tip top shape. Also the amenities are to good to pass up. Highly recommend!!!!
This area is lovely. Well kept, extremely clean. The home owners here clearly care about things looking nice and what others think.
Quiet, clean community. Great place for retirees, young families starting out or people with a budget. Safe!
