Promotions or Special Offers

While Kaskaskia River Camping & RV Park is known for its straightforward and value-oriented approach to camping, specific ongoing promotions or publicly advertised special offers are not consistently highlighted in available information. The pricing for sites tends to be competitive for the services offered, focusing on providing a solid camping experience without complex discount programs.

However, prospective campers should always consider the following for potential savings or best rates:

  • Online Booking System: Utilize the park's online booking platform. Often, direct online reservations can sometimes offer the best available rates, or provide insights into seasonal pricing variations. Booking in advance, especially during peak seasons, is advisable to secure desired dates and potentially better pricing.
  • Off-Peak Season Rates: Like many campgrounds, rates may vary by season. Visiting during the shoulder seasons (spring and fall) or off-peak times might present opportunities for lower nightly rates compared to the busier summer months.
  • Extended Stay Discounts: For campers planning longer stays (e.g., weekly or monthly), it is always worth inquiring directly with the park management about potential extended stay discounts. Many campgrounds offer reduced rates for longer commitments.
  • Group Reservations: If you are planning a trip with a large group or multiple RVs/tents, contact the park directly. They might be able to offer group rates or special arrangements for block bookings.

It is important to note that the primary value proposition of Kaskaskia River Camping & RV Park lies in its direct river access, full hookup convenience, and peaceful setting, rather than frequent promotional deals. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on pricing, availability, and any potential offers, direct communication with the park management is always recommended. They can provide precise details tailored to your specific camping needs and desired dates.

Level gravel back in sites, full hookups 50 amp need adapter for 30 amp. Gavel sites are narrow so your steps put you in the mud if it’s raining like it is now. But it is right on the river. Large pavilion, bathrooms are a toilet and a sink

Basic campground with full hookups, but no facilities. There appears to be no camp host. Just book on line and go to your site on arrival.

Nice RV campground. The tent or rustic campsites were not close to flat. The bock house was very far away. We told the host that it wasn’t suitable for us. She said we could stay on one of the trailer sites. There were quite a few.

Nice relaxing place to Stay. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you are a boater or a fisherman or someone that just wants to sit next to the river and relax. Some sites might be a little tight for bigger rigs. I'm pulling a 35 ft fifth wheel with a F350 crew cab, 8 foot bed. I fit just fine! April 12, 2024

This small town camping experience was amazing! Picturesque views of the Kaskaskia River! Brand new pavilion with new picnic tables, new on-site bathrooms, fresh rock, newly planted trees, FULL hook up, and 50 amp service! It was an amazing weekend! Take a half mile walk on the levee and don't forget your camera! On the other side of the levee is the town park for the kids with baseball diamonds, a basketball court, swings, sandbox, slides, and much more! Go eat at the Bullpen, Village Pizza, and Machete's. They ALL have amazing food! Dollar General is also in the town. Plan your next camping trip here!
