This prime address places it directly on the shores of Lake Hickory in Catawba County, a desirable area in the western Piedmont region of North Carolina. Its proximity to Lake Hickory is its defining feature, offering unparalleled water access and scenic views.

Conover is a growing town that balances suburban amenities with natural beauty. The resort's location provides excellent accessibility to essential services. Residents can easily reach local grocery stores, pharmacies, dining establishments, and retail shops in Conover, typically within a short drive. The larger city of Hickory, a regional hub, is also just minutes away, offering an even broader range of shopping, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, and employment opportunities.

For those traveling by RV or car, the resort is well-connected to major transportation arteries. Interstate 40 (I-40) is easily accessible, providing a direct east-west corridor across North Carolina. Prospective residents are advised that the annual lot rent is approximately $6,000 per year, which, as one reviewer noted, provides significant value for the extensive features and services included. Any specific terms, payment plans, or availability of specific lots would be handled directly by the resort management. Interested individuals are highly encouraged to contact Lake Hickory RV Resort directly to inquire about current lot availability, precise rental agreements, and the application process. Lot rent 6,000 a year. For that price, you have a gated community, trash pu, water and sewer, and access to docks and lake. It wasn’t for me, although the people I met there were very kind. Rv’s too close together for me.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have an awesome lot at Lake Hickory RV Resort and campground for over 30 years. Our home is 3 minutes from the campground and it has allowed our family fast and easy access to the lake, hop on the boat and enjoy. If a storm comes, we dock the boat, stay inside our tiny house till the storm passes and go back out on the lake. We can easily go weekdays, enjoy every weekend and holidays. It is a terrific place to enjoy and we have friends at the resort that we like spending time with. We have been fortunate though the years to have good honest and friendly neighbors. When we grill out we invite people over to eat and sometimes we load up by boat and go eat at the resturant. It is a gated community and might be too close for some people. We have found being good neighbors and helping each other is what makes good friends.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Lady with black hair and glasses in office was very rude. Not only was she rude on the phone, she was very rude as I pulled up per customer behind me. Got to site and saw that there was a bacterial filled water Spicket in ground. Did not want to hook up water system to it because it was actually underwater full of bacteria. Would not recommend this place at all. Also, campground is not friendly to 1/2 of its occupants….

Lori Faust I usually don't say anything about people who have put bad reviews because I don't want to lower myself to the level some have like Lori Faust. But there was something terribly wrong with this woman that has said nothing but lies and she was so out of control that I had to ask her to leave. I have printed out and saved the original messages. She was so out of control that I made sure I had a witness in the office because I knew she couldn't leave without starting something. She claimed I threw her out because her husband was black. She is aware I never met her husband and he never came to the office. And I see that the lies have continued. Lori Faust you need help. This is not normal behavior.

When we arrived the manager w long black hair was very rude. I ask where to put my boat and she replied do you not know how to read the text I sent you. That set the tone for our treatment while at the campground.. It was very obvious that she did not like interracial couples etc. at the campground.. After sending me very nasty text during our night there she told us we would have to leave that next morning.. We complied but after we left she continued to text me and threw fear, and intimidation told me that if I told anyone that she would sue me I have of course filed a formal complaint.
