For Floridians, particularly those seeking a close-knit community atmosphere and an active lifestyle, Lake Pointe Village Mobile Home Park in Mulberry offers a compelling proposition. Its suitability for local residents stems from several key factors, blending the allure of Central Florida living with the practicalities of a well-established mobile home park.
Firstly, the park's vibrant social scene and the reported "friendly and helpful" nature of its residents create an immediate draw. Many Floridians, especially those in retirement or looking to downsize, seek communities where social interaction is encouraged and a supportive network is readily available. With "many activities to choose from," Lake Pointe Village fosters an environment where it's easy to meet new people, pursue shared interests, and feel a strong sense of belonging. This emphasis on community life is a significant benefit, providing a ready-made social circle that enhances the daily living experience.
Secondly, the high percentage of full-time residents (over half of the 340 homes) indicates a stable and enduring community. This is a crucial aspect for Floridians looking for a permanent or long-term home, as it suggests a consistent and dedicated resident base, as opposed to a purely seasonal or transient population. A stable community often translates to greater consistency in park management, shared responsibilities, and a more robust social fabric.
While some concerns regarding specific amenities, such as pool heating, have been noted, the fundamental value proposition for locals remains strong. The relatively affordable nature of mobile home living, combined with the community's active lifestyle, can offer a more budget-friendly path to enjoying the Florida dream compared to traditional housing options. Residents benefit from shared amenities and community upkeep, even while managing individual property taxes and yard maintenance.
Finally, Lake Pointe Village's location in Mulberry, while offering a quiet setting, still provides convenient access to the wider Central Florida region. Floridians will appreciate the easy drives to Lakeland's amenities, and for those who enjoy exploring, the proximity to major highways facilitates trips to the state's popular attractions. This balance of serene local living with regional accessibility ensures that residents can enjoy the best of both worlds. In summary, Lake Pointe Village offers Floridians a practical, community-rich, and active living environment that can be a truly "nice place to live."
Customer Reviews
This is the moduler home park where we spend the winter. There are approximately 340 homes here. More than half the residents live here full time. We have many activities to choose from. People are friendly and helpful! Very nice place to live!
Horrible management company. They are talking advantage of residents. Pool isn't heated, cars will be towed if owners park on their own grass etc. The MGMT company pays for pool maintenance, the gate and upkeep to the club house and mailboxes. The owners pay property taxes, insurance, keep their own yard maintained etc. The office person who is supposed to be there 2 days a week never shows up. The least they can do is keep the pool heated. That's why the elderly come to FL. If the pool doesn't get fixed I will do more than leave a bag Google review.
The management company ought to be ashamed of themselves for the way they are treating people in this community. All I can say is what comes around goes around. You will be elderly one day and I hope you receive the same treatment that you are showing this community. This has nothing to do with the change in management companies. This has to do with maintenance of the pool, ridiculous parking rules etc.
Beautiful property, friendly residents and the community manager was friendly, informative, knowledgeable and a major reason for us purchasing a home here.
This place doesn’t follow any rules. Lets people put junk in front of the house and in the yards behind the house look like it’s a hoarders house. Disgusting!
