Location and Accessibility

Milleson's Walnut Grove is conveniently located at 1971 Milleson Road, Springfield, WV 26763, USA. While the address is in Springfield, it’s important for prospective visitors to note that the campground is truly "off the beaten path." It's situated approximately 3 miles down a country dirt road, on a working livestock farm, along a bend in the South Branch of the Potomac River. This location ensures a genuine rural experience, providing the peace and quiet that many campers seek.

For West Virginians, particularly those in the Eastern Panhandle, the campground is easily accessible. It’s about 30 minutes north of Romney, WV, and roughly 10 minutes from the small town of Springfield. We had an absolute blast! Everyone was so friendly. The campground is very well maintained. There was a mishap on my invoice charging me for an extra day which I also overlooked and a refund was quickly refunded. We will be camping here again.

First timer. Went with some friends who have some lots there. We camped in tents and the amenities were much nicer than other campgrounds that I've visited. Clean restroom, good showers. The staff and fellow campers were all quite friendly and having a good time. Speed is restricted to 5mph due to children and people walking, biking and carting. Most people seemed to obey which made it feel safe to travel around the campground.

Located on a long dirt road between Romney and Springfield, WV. A large campground for RV’s with a store and showers. Many have been loyal and staying here for years but due to being a flood table near a river you cannot live here all year round, very peaceful with many friendly people.
