Customer Reviews
This is really a great place to stay. My wife and I are traveling cross country from West Coast to Tennessee. The staff is great. It really is a beautiful facility. Nice level flat cement pads in order to make staying easy. Beautiful, clean restrooms and showers. Nice swimming pool. It even has a gated area with a cigar trailer for those of you. enjoy a good cigar. Nice doggy area. Clubhouse with vending machines and lots of games, including pool shuffleboard connect for soccer and soccer and lots of board games and puzzles. I would really highly recommend this place.
If you want a bad situation made worse...stay here! My family and I were on a cross country road trip from Arizona. When we woke up on the morning we were supposed to check out, one of our slide outs on the motor home would not retract. We found ourselves in a strange city on a Sunday with our summer trip in jeopardy. When my wife went to the office to let them know we were stuck she was not met with sympathy but with a snotty attitude. Front desk staff were clear about this being a huge inconvenience for them since they were fully booked for that night. As much as it was out of our control the situation we had put them in was not lost on us. However with our summer trip coming to an abrupt end, we had heartbroken kids and a fully paid for trip falling apart before our eyes...a friendly smile would have gone a long way! Instead we got eye rolls and sneers. The campground was very nice and the bathrooms were very clean but the staff sucked!
The first site 50 had a bunker which left no room grass or picnic table. The staff accommodated my request to move to a new site 53. I appreciate their professionalism in honoring my request. The site and roads are all concrete, beautiful and clean park with grass and 2 dog parks. I was taken aback when I was charged a $5 pet fee (per dog), that was never disclosed This has never happened before in all my years RVing. We got our Good Sam’s discount. .
very clean secure site. Amenities such as laundry are well maintained. Storm shelters available added to peace of mind. All cement parking and driveway with pull thru and full hookups provide easy camping for a night or a week. I have camped here each spring for the past four years. The greatest ice cream is a leisure walk away.
Beautiful park/resort. Very well maintained and managed. Unfortunately the pool was down which was one of our main reason for staying here but the personnel made up for the inconvenience. Wonderful facilities and kept spotless. Yes it’s close to the highway, we just think of the noise like the ocean, lol. There’s a lot to do locally and we’ll definitely stay there the next time we’re through that area. Give them a try - you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
