Nacogdoches RV Park About
For Texans who love to explore our vast state by RV, finding a convenient and accommodating place to set up camp is always a key part of the adventure. East Texas, with its piney woods, historical towns, and numerous lakes, offers a distinct charm that draws many outdoor enthusiasts and travelers. Today, we're taking a closer look at Nacogdoches RV Park, located in the heart of "The Oldest Town in Texas." This park serves as a practical option for those seeking a place to stay, whether for a brief overnight stop or a longer-term residence.
Nacogdoches RV Park is designed to provide essential RV services in a convenient location. While some RV parks focus on resort-style amenities, Nacogdoches RV Park appears to cater to those who prioritize functional hookups and a straightforward, accessible place to park their recreational vehicle. It's important to approach any potential stay with all available information, including direct communications with management and insights from other travelers, to ensure it meets your specific needs.
Nacogdoches RV Park is conveniently located at 3915 NW Stallings Dr, Nacogdoches, TX 75964, USA. This address places it directly on Northwest Stallings Drive, which is a segment of Loop 224, the major loop road encircling the city of Nacogdoches. This strategic location offers excellent accessibility for RVers traveling through the region, providing easy ingress and egress.
Nacogdoches itself is a historic and vibrant city in East Texas, boasting Stephen F. Austin State University, a charming downtown, and numerous local attractions. The park's location on the loop means that residents have relatively easy access to various parts of the city, including shopping centers, restaurants, medical facilities, and the university campus. For Texans, this accessibility is a significant advantage, as it allows for a practical base from which to explore the local area, whether for tourism, temporary work, or long-term living. The well-maintained roads surrounding the park ensure that even large RVs can navigate to and from the property with ease.
Nacogdoches RV Park focuses on providing the core services necessary for a comfortable RV stay, catering to both short-term visitors and potentially long-term residents.
- Full Hookups: The park offers full hookups, including 30/50 amp electric service, water, and sewer connections. This is a crucial amenity for any RV park, allowing guests to fully utilize their RV's facilities, from air conditioning to internal plumbing, ensuring a self-contained and convenient stay.
- Pull-Thru Sites: Some sources indicate the presence of pull-thru sites. These are particularly beneficial for larger RVs, as they allow for easier parking without the need to back into a spot, simplifying arrival and departure.
- Water and Sewer Access: Each site provides direct water and sewer connections, eliminating the need for frequent trips to a dump station.
- Internet (Suddenlink): One review mentions that for internet, residents "have to rent equipment for Internet from Suddenlink." This implies that internet service is available, likely requiring direct setup with Suddenlink by the resident for individual connectivity. This is a common arrangement where the park provides the necessary infrastructure, but residents handle their own ISP accounts.
- Cable TV: Some public information indicates that cable TV is available, which can be a valuable amenity for longer stays or for those who enjoy downtime in their RVs.
- Laundry Facilities: While one review noted that the "showers and washing is not usable," other public sources indicate that laundry facilities are available. It is advisable to verify the current operational status of these facilities directly with park management.
It is important for prospective guests to contact the park directly to confirm the availability and working condition of all services, especially given conflicting information in reviews.
Nacogdoches RV Park offers several features that can make it a suitable option for certain RVers, particularly those seeking a no-frills, practical place to stay.
- Quiet Atmosphere: One positive review describes it as a "nice quiet place to stay." This suggests an environment conducive to relaxation, appealing to those who prefer a more tranquil setting away from constant noise.
- Reasonable Monthly Rent: A reviewer explicitly states that the "monthly rent is very reasonable." This highlight makes the park an attractive option for long-term stays, for individuals working in the area, or for those seeking an affordable living solution.
- Convenient Location: Being situated on NW Stallings Dr (Loop 224) means easy access to local amenities, including shopping, dining, and other services within Nacogdoches.
- Pet-Friendly: Public information generally suggests that RV parks are often pet-friendly, though specific restrictions or fees should be confirmed with the park directly.
However, it is crucial to address the significant negative feedback present in customer reviews. Concerns include:
- Allegations of Harassment and Illegal Eviction Attempts: One review explicitly states "harass you," "illegally evict you," and mentions "false complaints." These are serious allegations that demand thorough investigation by prospective residents.
- Problematic Laundry Facilities: The claim that "the washers are never properly working" and "showers and washing is not usable" is a significant detractor for guests relying on these amenities.
- Strict "Clutter" Rules: The complaint about "getting yelled at to take it off cause it’s 'clutter'" regarding personal belongings on the lot indicates potentially rigid rules that might impact long-term residents.
- Interpersonal Conflicts: The mention of "certain people there who can’t keep to them selves and are buddy buddy with the landlord and will falsely call complaints on you" suggests potential community friction and biased management.
- Office Location and Availability: The office "is not at the RV park, so you have to call and make sure they are at the office to go pay down the road," which can be inconvenient for handling payments or inquiries.
These negative points indicate significant issues with management, community environment, and amenity functionality that potential visitors must weigh heavily.
Specific, advertised promotions or special offers for Nacogdoches RV Park are not readily available in the provided public data beyond the general statement that monthly rent is "very reasonable." RV parks, especially those catering to longer-term stays, often structure their rates to offer better value for extended periods.
It is highly advisable for interested individuals to contact Nacogdoches RV Park directly to inquire about their current rates for daily, weekly, and monthly stays. They may offer:
- Graduated rates, where the per-night cost decreases with longer commitments.
- Any seasonal discounts, though these are less common for parks that primarily cater to long-term residents.
Given the critical reviews regarding management and communication, it is paramount that any discussed rates or offers are confirmed in writing to avoid future misunderstandings. Direct communication with the park management (using the provided phone number) is the most reliable way to obtain accurate pricing information.

For Texans seeking an RV park in Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches RV Park could be considered a practical option, particularly for those prioritizing affordability and essential full hookups in a convenient location. For locals, its position on Loop 224 offers easy access to the city's amenities, making it suitable for individuals working in the area, students, or those needing a temporary base while exploring the East Texas region. The park's potential for a "quiet" atmosphere and "very reasonable monthly rent" could appeal to those seeking a cost-effective and relatively peaceful living arrangement.
However, it is absolutely crucial for any prospective resident to be aware of and thoroughly investigate the significant negative feedback from current and former customers. Allegations of harassment, questionable eviction practices, misleading information, and issues with on-site amenities like laundry facilities are serious concerns that cannot be overlooked. While the concept of an affordable and conveniently located RV park is appealing, Texans considering Nacogdoches RV Park must exercise extreme caution. It is highly recommended to visit the park in person, ideally speaking with current residents to get a firsthand account, clarify all park rules and expectations in detail with management, and ensure all agreements are clear and in writing before committing to a stay. A diligent and informed approach is essential to ensure a satisfactory experience at this park.
Customer Reviews
Landlord is a false and greedy man. The washers are never properly working if you try to have more storage for your stuff on your own lot you get yelled at to take it off cause it’s “clutter”. They will also try to illegally evict you by harassing you. There are certain people there who can’t keep to them selves and are buddy buddy with the landlord and will falsely call complaints on you to get you evicted just cause she doesn’t like you. Do not recommend. There are better cheaper places to go that are more accommodating.
This is a nice quiet place to stay. The office is not at the RV park, so you have to call and make sure they are at the office to go pay down the road. As far as I know the showers and washing is not usable. I lived here for two months, and there were no issues. Will be actually moving back here soon. The monthly rent is very reasonable. The only thing I don’t like is you have to rent equipment for Internet from Suddenlink.
Nice place to live/stay, rent is reasonable, spots are shaded, and a great location. Two Cons: the office is not onsite and if you have any issues over the weekend it has to wait until Monday after 9am. It was very confusing trying to get internet. We were first told we needed to get a modem from Suddenlink, then we were told there’s WiFi and were given a password that doesn’t work. So we now have to wait until Monday to get it resolved.
Me and the wife stayed for few days and is not a good rv park no bathroom people who owns please or rude and dont stay there got to search for them to pay rent
This place is terrible. The bathroom and showers have no hot water. Very dirty. Not recommended.
