My family and I absolutely loved this camp ground! The Hostess Kylie and her daughter were SO fantastic and really made the trip that much more special! They were waiting at the camp store and greeted us upon arrival; her daughter played with our almost 3 year old which made her trip and Kylie went out of her way to be as helpful and accommodating as possible- even giving my husband burn cream for a bad second degree burn he got the first night. We were the only tent campers and had lots of privacy. The only reason I gave 4 stars out of 5 for that is because there's an abandoned trailer right across the river from our campsite that was an eye sore and we didn't find out until the second day that there was a larger area with even more privacy on the other side of the fishing pond which we would've paid extra to pitch our tent there. But that is a very minor point. Kylie offered us the kayak's and had children and adult size life jackets. She knows the area very well and was able to recommend off site dining. Her daughter gave us a tour of the property and was very knowledgeable of the fishing, swimming and wildlife. I caught a very large rainbow trout in their pond which was a blast! The bath house has 2 VERY WELL KEPT toilets and showers within a short walking distance of any site you are at and the farther tent sites on the left side of the pond have their own outhouse. The privacy and water access made the location phenomenal and we will be back! Thank you so much Kylie & Emma, you girls are fantastic!
Jun 10, 2025 · Carol FreudMy husband and I booked for a 3 night stay. Wanted something different. We had been camping many times in the past but as you get older you look for comfort when doing so. The young lady that works there was very nice and helpful. The location not so much. We decided to make the best of it, set up camp and decided to go fishing. It was nice and quiet till the people who lived 50 yards away turned on there generator. We thought no big deal , wrong it ran all night long and when my husband said something to the owner, he said yeah we know, nothing we can do about it. There were 2 empty cabins away from the generator noise and moving was not offered. We eat our dinner by the fire with the lovely sound of the generator and get ready to go to bed. BED was not easy to sleep in. It was VERY soft, when we layed down we both met in the middle. Was not a peaceful or restful night. Some sleep was had but not much. When I woke up the next morning I walked to the bath house which were very nice and the lady that works there was cleaning them and when asked how my night went I said " not as good as the folks with the generator " her words were "nothing we can do about that" that's when I decided 2 nights of this wasn't going to work for us. We ate our breakfast and cut and stay short. If you have guests and they are unhappy, shouldn't you try and make it better for them?? But no....there was nothing they could do! It was not quiet, romantic by any means, and the pictures on there website are of the owners home.
Jul 26, 2024 · Kimberly SullivanWe had a great stay with Camp Holly for our anniversary. We enjoyed walking around the trails on the property. The A-Frame was quaint and comfortable. I loved having the creek right out the back door. Very nice bath houses. Friendly staff and easy check in/out. A perfect getaway for us.
Oct 15, 2023 · Mary ArrittThe campsite and cabins were awesome! The view was so pretty and made everything feel calm. Mornings were the best with all the nature sounds. The cabins were cozy, and the pond view was super cool. Plus, the owner is super nice, making the whole experience even better! It's a great place to relax and have awesome memories.
Dec 25, 2023 · Omid GolestanianWe recently had a family reunion at Camp Holly and had the best time. The kids were able to play in their field, catch butterflies, feed farm animals, swim in the river, stargaze, hike and fish in the lake. The cabins were adorable and the host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I can't recommend this place enough.
