As Red River RV Park is under new ownership and actively undergoing development, traditional, formalized "promotions or special offers" might be less established than at fully mature parks. However, the park's current state and approach can be seen to offer unique advantages that act as their own form of incentive for potential visitors.
Here's how the park's current situation can be considered a "promotion" for local Oklahomans:
-
Early Bird Access to a Revitalized Park: Being an early visitor during this transitional period means you get to experience the park as it transforms. This offers the unique satisfaction of "discovering" a promising new spot before it becomes widely known, potentially securing prime spots or experiencing a more intimate environment before it's at full capacity.
-
Potential for Value Pricing: During development phases, parks sometimes offer more competitive rates as they build their reputation and clientele. While not explicitly stated, this could be an unspoken benefit for those willing to visit during this period of improvement.
-
Influence on Future Development: By visiting and providing feedback, guests can indirectly contribute to the park's evolution. This sense of participation in shaping a local business can be a unique appeal for community-minded individuals.
-
Unique Glamping Experience: The "tee pee tents" are a distinct offering. For those interested in trying a glamping experience without committing to buying their own tent setup, this provides a novel and convenient way to enjoy the outdoors. This unique lodging option acts as a special offer for those seeking something different.
-
Guaranteed Tranquility (for now): The review mentioning "we were the only ones there" suggests that currently, the park often offers a very peaceful, uncrowded experience. For those seeking true serenity, this low occupancy is a major "promotion."

Customer Reviews
Under new ownership, this RV park is already seeing some great updates, and it’s clear they’re dedicated to making improvements. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay, with both pull-through and back-in spots available for easy access. The location is fantastic—close to the lake, marina, and several restaurants, including Twisted Anchor, which is just 2 miles away. The tranquil environment made it the perfect getaway, and we’ll definitely be back!
My friends and I rented two RV spots here Thursday - Saturday, I’ll start off by saying the tents looked cool and the way they were set up with the lights and hammocks was pretty neat, however they were set up at full hook up sites, maybe an afterthought? Anyway all the amenities were for tent campers and not the RV spots where we were. We ended up walking over and moving a fire pit to our side and grabbed the corn hole game and made the best of it. A positive is we were the only ones there besides the park hosts “I think” we just assumed that’s who they were. Be aware if you chose this place either for RV or you want to try the tee pee tents there are stickers everywhere here. We spent the majority of the time trying to avoid them and pulling them out of our shoes and carpets. They have porta potty’s that were very clean except for the beer bottle in the trash of one bathroom and a pair of panties in the other. The outdoor showers were very neat and surprisingly invigorating in the evening or early morning. I wish I had one at home! They do have an outdoor kitchen tent we think is for the entire park but with it being on the side with the tents we weren’t for sure if we could grab the s’more kit and coffee from the keurig. This place is still being developed so I won’t be too harsh but they could’ve mowed the place.
If you are looking for an RV spot close to the sandy beaches on Lake Texoma, this is the place for you. Take your side by side to Ollie’s, The Twisted Anchor or Willie’s for dinner and drinks or cruise the long span of sandy beaches. Also very close to boat ramps. Great location and place to stay!
Glamping here is a very peaceful experience. The park is well-maintained and minimal, in a good way. The bell tents and tipis are gorgeous and beautifully decorated. During the week it’s so relaxing and the beach is less than a mile away. Also loved the hammocks for stargazing at night!
Such a great spot to relax and clear your head. The site is so peaceful and serene. The tents are beyond comfortable and the staff did an impeccable job keeping everything clean and sanitized. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to try something new bro get some peace and quiet.
