Oak Springs Mobile Home Park About

Living in Pennsylvania offers a unique blend of historical charm, natural beauty, and vibrant communities. For those seeking a relaxed, low-maintenance lifestyle, especially in their golden years, mobile home parks have become an increasingly popular option. These communities provide an affordable alternative to traditional homeownership, often with a strong sense of community and convenient amenities. Among the desirable options in the Commonwealth, Oak Springs Mobile Home Park stands out as a dedicated 55-and-older community, offering a tranquil and well-maintained environment in the heart of Cranberry Township.

Oak Springs Mobile Home Park provides a living experience specifically tailored for individuals aged 55 and over. This age-restricted design fosters a peaceful atmosphere and a strong sense of camaraderie among residents who often share similar interests and life stages. It's a place where you can truly settle in, connect with neighbors, and enjoy a fulfilling retirement or semi-retirement lifestyle without the constant demands of traditional home upkeep. The community is known for its well-maintained properties, with residents often noting the pride they take in their homes and the shared desire for a pleasant living environment.

For many Pennsylvanians, the appeal of a mobile home park lies in its accessibility and the potential for a more manageable cost of living. Manufactured homes often offer a more affordable entry point into homeownership compared to stick-built houses, and the associated lot rent can cover various services, contributing to a simplified budget. This allows residents to allocate more of their resources to enjoying their leisure time, hobbies, and family, rather than being burdened by extensive property taxes or major home repairs. Oak Springs embraces this philosophy, providing a practical and comfortable solution for those looking to downsize or simply embrace a more relaxed pace of life.

Features / Highlights

  • 55-and-older community: This age restriction ensures a quieter, more mature living environment, often with activities and amenities tailored to this demographic. Residents frequently commend the strong sense of community and the quality of neighbors.
  • Well-maintained property: Reviews consistently highlight the property's upkeep and updated appearance, reflecting a commitment to providing a pleasant living space for residents.
  • Reasonable property rent: While specific rental figures can vary and are subject to change, the general sentiment from residents suggests that the lot rent offers good value for the location and amenities.

Promotions or Special Offers

Based on publicly available information, specific, ongoing promotions or special offers directly from Oak Springs Mobile Home Park itself are not consistently advertised. However, prospective residents should be aware that the overall value proposition of mobile home living, particularly in a 55+ community like Oak Springs, often serves as its own form of "promotion." This includes the generally more affordable cost of home purchase compared to traditional housing, potentially lower property taxes (if you own the home but lease the land), and often lower maintenance requirements as external upkeep is often handled by the park management. Individual homes for sale within the park, listed by real estate agents or current owners, might occasionally come with their own incentives, such as included appliances or minor upgrades, but these would be on a case-bycase basis and not directly from the park's management. It is always recommended to inquire directly with the park management or a real estate agent specializing in manufactured homes in the area for any current availability or potential buyer incentives.

Contact Information

Address: 4671 Old Rte 19, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066, USA

While specific phone numbers for direct inquiries regarding lot availability or current management may vary, the best approach for prospective residents is often to look for listings of homes for sale within the park through local real estate agents or manufactured home sales websites. These listings will typically include contact information for the selling agent. For general inquiries about the park or to reach the park manager, Chris, as mentioned in a review, direct outreach via phone or email, as provided on any official park communication or listings, would be the most effective method. It is important to note that a previous review indicated some difficulty in reaching the park manager by phone or email, so persistence may be required. Always refer to the most current public information for contact details.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

Oak Springs Mobile Home Park presents an excellent opportunity for locals in Pennsylvania, particularly those aged 55 and over, seeking a comfortable, community-focused, and potentially more affordable living solution in Cranberry Township. The positive feedback from current residents speaks volumes about the quality of life within the community. For those looking to downsize, simplify their lives, or enjoy their retirement years without the typical burdens of extensive home maintenance and large property taxes, Oak Springs offers a compelling alternative.

The strategic location in Cranberry Township provides easy access to essential services, recreational activities, and vibrant local attractions, ensuring that residents remain connected to all that Western Pennsylvania has to offer. The 55-and-older designation is a significant draw, fostering a peaceful environment and a strong sense of belonging among like-minded individuals. Oak Springs Mobile Home Community is a 55 and older community and a wonderful place to live. Awesome neighbors, well maintained and updated property with reasonable property rent. An empty space or mobile home is grabbed up as soon as it becomes available. My husband and I have been living here for three years and are delighted to be living here.

It would be really nice to get ahold of the park manager, Chris! The only payment accepted is by phone. I've reached out via phone as well as email several times with no response.
