Customer Reviews
I was raised in the area and went to high school here. My family has lived in the area since the late 70’s. This park has been here for years and never really looked inviting. My wife and I decided to purchase a large 5th wheel and put it on the lake. We looked at several parks in the area and decided to set our camper On The Lake. This park has made dramatic changes to the appearance. It is warm and welcoming. When we went into the office for the first time we felt like we had known the manager Rhonda and all of her staff for years. We absolutely love the park and the people that work here. The sunsets are breathtaking. I kayak and fish almost every weekend. The boat ramp and bulkhead are well maintained. I highly recommend this park for long term or a short visit. You will not be disappointed.
My husband and I and my mother ate at your restaurant last night. The food was cold. The best part of your service last night was your waitress. When this place first opened up, it was really great. You need a better menu. We won’t be back anytime soon. You don’t have a restaurant it’s a sandwich shop. Also you could use a better cook.
We recently visited On the Lake RV and had a great time. Super friendly, accommodating staff. Our site #86 was perfect! It was large enough for our 42 ft. Fifth wheel and one vehicle. The views out our back windows were of the lake and the sunset. It was a level concrete site with a built in firepit and patio furniture. They had a playground, pool and hot tub, beach entry to the lake, boat slips, an on-site restaurant and more. Our kids favorite was the turtle conservation creek. The sunsets here were remarkable. We can't wait to return.
I had booked this cabin for a family reunion. I had put my deposit down and made a 1 payment . I was then told I was going to need a biopsy due to thinking I had cancer. I called to tell them and they said they could do a refund. I was going to have one of my cousins stay there and they said all they had to do was call and give their information. Later they took out the rest of what was owned out of my checking account. When I called and spoke to the manager, I said my cousin was taking over the cabin. She stated It’s not transferable. I said well, when I called the first time they didn’t say anything about that. I told her I would definitely make a review to let people know how they are. My results came back negative and I had thought about going. Glad I didn’t because they cancelled my cabin without a refund 3 days after I called the manager. They even had it in their notes that I never cancelled it myself. I am $400.00 out of pocket and the worst thing is they rented my cabin to someone else. So they got double the money for that cabin. I will travel the few extra distance and stay at a hotel. PLEASE BE AWARE if you book a cabin. They won’t give refunds even if you have a medical condition come up and they are extremely rude!
Spent the weekend here. Had a good time except the RV next to us partying until at least 2am both night. Loud music, drunks yelling. Quiet time starts at 10 pm. Someone should be patrolling the area.
