From the type of units available to the general atmosphere and management style, every detail contributes to your overall experience. Let’s explore what Adkins Store & Stay RV Park has to offer the Texan RV community.
Adkins Store & Stay RV Park is located at 2678 Farm To Market Rd 3459, Onalaska, TX 77360, USA. For Texans, a "Farm To Market Road" (FM Road) typically indicates a location that balances rural tranquility with practical accessibility. FM 3459 connects the park to the wider Onalaska community and the surrounding Polk County area.
Onalaska is well-known for its proximity to Lake Livingston, one of Texas's largest and most popular lakes. While the park isn't directly on the lake, its location in Onalaska suggests that access to the lake for fishing, boating, and other water activities would be within a reasonable driving distance. This makes it an appealing choice for those who enjoy outdoor recreation but prefer a slightly more removed and potentially quieter base.
In terms of regional accessibility, Onalaska is situated near US-190, a major east-west highway, which provides straightforward routes to larger towns like Livingston to the east and Huntsville to the west. This connectivity ensures that guests at Adkins Store & Stay RV Park can easily access essential services such as grocery stores, gas stations, healthcare facilities, and other amenities in nearby communities. The convenience of being on an FM road means less traffic than a major highway, potentially contributing to the "peaceful atmosphere" mentioned in a positive review.
The location offers a balance for those seeking a quiet environment without being completely isolated from necessities. This blend of rural charm and practical access to town resources makes Adkins Store & Stay RV Park a viable option for many Texans seeking accommodation in the Lake Livingston area.

Customer Reviews
I'm currently living in the one-room camper at Adkins store and RV park, and it's been a great experience so far! I am approaching the end of my first month, and I'm still loving it. Stephnie and Russell are not only fantastic hosts but also super down-to-earth humans who are always ready to go the extra mile to help. They're the kind of hosts who make you feel like you're their long-lost friend, minus the awkward catching-up phase. The camper is clean, convenient, comfortable, and a great value for the price that perfectly fits my budget. Plus, the peaceful atmosphere and surroundings are perfect for unwinding after a long day. I highly recommend this spot - it's a great fit!
They have bed bugs and don't tell you then try to call you a liar when you call them out! I paid $1600 to stay a week and a half with bed bugs! When trying to tell them about the bugs I got called a liar when my son has bed bugs bites on top of having to treat all of our belongings with money we don't have because we paid them $1600! I wouldn't have gave any stars but I have to do at least one to post this so other people don't get trapped and out of money! A whole $500 out of $1600 that we paid and if you exterminated your units there wouldn't be bed bugs in them!
It's a simple RV site. Had your basic needs. Nothing more nothing less.
The new owners Russell and his wife Stephanie are a really great couple, very nice people to deal with, and they’re making new improvements to the park every time I see them! I live here full time and definitely recommend Adkins Store And Stay to any age person looking for a great getaway or a place to call home, the Wi-Fi is fantastic the facilities are clean, and the people that live here are amazing!
I lived here for a couple months and the rv was nice and clean and what I thought was a nice place to live. However, be careful. Objects containing drug paraphernalia were found in an rv, they also tried to sell my old drivers permit and my old permit papers at a garage sale after moving out. If you plan to move here, really choose wisely. People can either be nice or two faced. Take your pick.
