While this campground offers convenient access to French Lick and the surrounding attractions, our overall experience was disappointing. The sites lack shade. More importantly, we encountered an environment that did not feel welcoming. During our stay, we overheard anti-LGBTQ remarks from other campers and saw flags displayed that promoted exclusion rather than community. This created an uncomfortable and uninviting atmosphere. Campgrounds should be a place for everyone to feel safe and enjoy the outdoors. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
May 22, 2025 · Elizabeth ReynoldsWe are yearly campers and the owners are so nice and considerate of others. I am handicapped and they gave my husband a deck to put on our camper so it would be easier for me to get in. Thank you Bubba and Janet may God bless you for your kindness. No better place to camp!! The other campers helped to get the deck up here. The campers all get along great. Thank you Jesus for leading us here
Jul 04, 2021 · chloe EadsNice little park. Very friendly owners. Would stay there again if I was in the area. Much better than the 6 parking lot spots at the casino with a little train whistle blown every 15 minutes next to you from 6 a.m. till 9 p.m. painter is also cheaper and only 7 miles from the casino.
Aug 28, 2018 · Barry WilsonI stayed here about two years ago and those owners were the best. Since then, this establishment has changed owners. By mistake my eye doctor mailed my new glasses to the new owners. After several conversations, they admitted to receiving my glasses, but never returned them or mailed them to me. I offered reimbursement for their time and postage, and they still chose to keep my eye glasses. I cannot speak for anybody else, but these are not the type of people that I would want to do business with. I repeatedly asked and pleaded for them to send me my glasses and it fell on deaf ears. It takes a special type of person to act in this manner. It sucks that you have to give at least one star to make a review. VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE!!!!!! ZERO STARS. #THIEVES
Nov 04, 2024 · Lester LittlejohnWe came here for our anniversary in the rv and it exceeded our expectations! Nice and clean amenities. The owners were wonderful and attentive. And the people that rent for the season were very friendly and accommodating. It was peaceful and quiet all day and night. The lake is a mile away if you have a boat. We didn't bring a car and were able to get an Uber into French Lick for the night. There was plenty to do there and the historic hotel and casino were great! We will be back with our kids next time!
