Update ('25) - The issues seems to have been solved, haven't heard anything from the folks I know there about any unreasonable issues for a while, now if they could somehow keep folks from parking IN the intersections, that'd be awesome. Otherwise I am speaking not as a resident but as a visitor. While the park appears to be clean and in relatively good order especially for an older park, there is a strong consensus that Dan needs to dial it back to say the least. I'd heard this from the friends I visit as well as their neighbors on several visits. The other day I was able to see it firsthand and can honestly say I'd have a hard time dealing with that guy once, let alone repeatedly (constantly) as is apparently the norm. I'll not post the specifics to prevent potential reprisal of the resident, but it was extremely annoying and completely unwarranted. Otherwise, seems like a pretty quiet place.
We have lived here 5 years, and while the park may not look like all cookie cutter homes in some corporate parks it is more a home. Our owner only gets involved when other tenants are endangered due to aggressive animals and so forth. The rent is really good here which helps out the elderly and disabled tremendously. I love this park and am proud to call it home.
I had a really rough couple years here with neighbors causing problems and being abusive. Now they have finally been told to leave the park or moved on their own, not sure which, but, with them gone my life is so much more peaceful. I've never disliked living here, but, all the issues was neighbors vandalizing and abusing us. The park is basically a quiet and peaceful place to live. The rent is very reasonable and right now that is very very important. The owner refuses to sale to Californians, which is what almost every other park in Wichita has done. They keep the rent low and that is especially good during the economy we are living in. I am grateful to be living here. I feel more safe and secure here than I would at any other park in this area.
This is a well-kept mobile home park. Very peaceful. Paved roads. Storm cellar in case of tornadoes. It's in between Wichita and Derby right off of K15 easy access in the Derby School district
