Services Offered

  • Mobile Home Lot Rentals: The primary service offered by Pinecrest Pointe Mobile Home Park is the rental of individual lots for manufactured homes. Residents typically own their mobile homes and pay a monthly lot rent to the park for the land their home sits on, along with access to park amenities and utilities.
  • On-site Management/Landlord Support: A key service highlighted in customer reviews is the responsiveness and helpfulness of the landlord, specifically Laura. This suggests an accessible management team dedicated to addressing residents' needs, including maintenance requests for trailers, which are reportedly handled quickly. This level of communication and support from management is a crucial service for residents.
  • Basic Utility Connections: While not explicitly detailed, standard mobile home parks provide hookups for essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity to each lot. Residents are typically responsible for their utility consumption, but the park facilitates the necessary connections.
  • Community Maintenance: The park management is responsible for maintaining common areas, roads within the park, and overall park infrastructure. This ensures a tidy and functional living environment for all residents.
  • Opportunity for Home Customization/Updating: While homes might be "average," as one review notes, the park allows for "room for updating." This suggests that residents have the flexibility to personalize and improve their homes on their rented lots, a significant benefit for homeowners.

Features / Highlights

  • Affordable Living Option: One of the most significant highlights of Pinecrest Pointe Mobile Home Park is its role as an affordable housing solution. For many in Indiana, mobile home parks offer a lower entry point into homeownership or a more budget-friendly rental option compared to traditional stick-built homes, making it suitable for those seeking financial accessibility.
  • Potential as a "Starter Home": Customer feedback specifically mentions the park as a suitable place for a "starter home." This highlights its appeal to first-time homebuyers or those looking to establish independent living without a large initial investment, providing a practical stepping stone in their housing journey.
  • Responsive and Helpful Management: A standout feature, as noted in a review, is the "wonderful" and "best landlord ever," Laura, who is lauded for her quick action on maintenance requests. This level of supportive and responsive management is a significant asset to residents, fostering a more positive living experience.
  • Opportunity for Home Improvement: The park allows for "room for updating" of homes. This feature is crucial for residents who wish to personalize, renovate, and increase the value and comfort of their manufactured homes over time, turning an "average" home into a truly customized space.
  • Community Atmosphere (implied): While one review mentions communication issues, the existence of a park inherently suggests a community setting. Mobile home parks often foster neighborly interactions and a sense of shared living, which can be a valuable feature for many residents seeking a connected environment.
  • Basic but Functional Environment: Described as a "basic park," this can be a highlight for those who prioritize practicality and affordability over extensive, high-end amenities. It suggests a focus on providing essential living conditions in a straightforward manner.
  • Pathway to Potential Future Home Ownership (Off-site): The comment about potentially moving the home to another piece of land suggests a flexibility that could be a highlight for some residents. This implies that the mobile homes themselves are movable assets, offering a degree of long-term real estate strategy for those who might eventually purchase land elsewhere.

Basic park. They aren't the best at communicating with it's residents. And the homes are average but room for updating. Would agree it's a place as a starter home but would be what to start and move the home to another piece of land. The rent is always going up and with less and less benefits

I love living here. The management has changed several times but the best manager was Crystal because she knew us by name, got things done quickly and has a great personality. The property is so safe and quiet. I find.the neighbors are very friendly plus Pine Crest is conveniently located down the street from.many stores and a hope skip and jump from Evansville.

If you are looking to live here, then do yourself a favor and don't. There are always water main breaks and they find ways to charge you more on the water bill. Every month there's a new fee. The water bill gets over the price of the electrical bill eventually and never stops raising. They have new management every few months.

Rent constantly goes up. Restricts how you live. Update 2021: Horrible place to live. A new company bought out the park community and sky rocketed our water bill 300-500. Which made us get a bit (1.5 months) behind in rent trying to pay it. They then evicted us as soon as they could (family of 6 with 4 children 2 to 10 yrs old), only gave us 10 days to get out, and (once in court) the representative for the company was so rude and just heartless. Then tried to charge us for rent for the following month after we left. We lost our home that we were BUYING. They bought it out from under us as soon as they evicted us. THEY HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE TO A COMMUNITY IN KENTUCKY. Google the company name on youtube, there is a news story on it. I DO NOT NOR WOULD EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMMUNITY (COMPANY) TO ANYONE!!!!
