Promotions or Special Offers

In-state AEPs are currently $50, offering great value for local residents who plan multiple visits to state properties.

  • Golden Hoosier Permits: Available for Indiana residents 65 years and older or those with a disability, Golden Hoosier Permits offer a reduced annual entrance fee, currently $25, making state park access even more affordable for eligible individuals.

  • Reduced Amenities (November - April): During the off-season, many properties, including Poplar Grove, offer reduced camping rates as water services may be turned off and modern restrooms closed. This provides a more rustic experience at a lower cost for those willing to camp in cooler months.

We really enjoyed and appreciated the clean bathrooms and free showers. We were in 110 and the sites were super cramped and close to the road but luckily it was empty on our right side. Quiet hours are not enforced as a huge crowd of kids showed up and were yelling and cursing between 3-6am. Luckily we don’t have kids but I felt for all the families who were trying to sleep. Very pretty though.
