A beautiful, relaxing retreat that is easy to get to and not too far from home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even indulged my folks and took them up to show them where the old pool used to be when they were kids.

We enjoyed our stay here at Rippling Waters. The park encompasses a large area, and we enjoyed getting in some steps in this serene atmosphere. (If you're looking for quiet, this is the place!) The staff was friendly and even made sure to place us in a spot that had better Internet reception, since I told them I work remotely. We were able to visit nearby Charleston, checked out waterfalls and the New River Gorge Bridge, and even took a trek out to see the Mothman Museum! (For the full review, check out our YT channel!)

Well, this park may not be on the beaten path. It is clean the people that run. It are very concerned that you have a good time when you’re there we needed a branch trim from a tree no problem. They trimmed it for us so we wouldn’t scratch our paintthe road to. It’s a little thin but when you’re there it’s clean it’s comfortable. It’s quiet and while we drive a 45 foot and it’s a little tight there when we’re in the area that is a place that we will stop at again.

We've been coming here for 2 years at the time of this review. It is our favorite spot to camp to and from our semi-annual Myrtle Beach vacations. We RV to get away from people, not socialize with them. This is quiet and somewhat secluded, beautiful and the staff is friendly. We'll keep on going back 4 times a year, or more depending on how much we go south to the beach. The road up to here is narrow and, in spots, can be a bit tricky. We tow a 28' travel trailer and do just fine, just take it slow in spots.

I stayed in a rustic cabin with 2 of my friends for a weekend. The location was beautiful. Being surrounded by the Appalachian woods was amazing. It’s very secluded, but also very close to the highway for any traveling we had to do. The grounds were very clean and well kept, not just around the cabins but also near the office and RV sites. The bathhouse was clean, which was pleasantly surprising given the secluded/woodsy location. The cabin was clean, spacious, and cool despite the warm temperatures. There isn’t a whole lot going on in the immediate area, but Charleston isn’t a far drive (~30 min) if you need to go to a city, or are simply looking for something to do. The area is also quite safe and very quiet. If there was anything to worry about, you would certainly hear it. The only issue is the road leading to the location can be very long, winding, and broken down in certain spots but that’s the nature of living in the mountains. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating for any and all of our needs. The prices are also very fair. I would certainly stay here again.
