River's Edge RV Park is a cozy and highly-regarded RV park nestled on the banks of the picturesque Greenbrier River in Hinton, West Virginia. It is distinct for its smaller size, offering only a limited number of spaces, which contributes to a more intimate and less crowded camping experience. This exclusivity is a significant draw for RVers seeking peace and a strong sense of community.
Customer reviews consistently praise the park's setting and atmosphere. One visitor enthusiastically stated, "Loved it! Right on Greenbriar river. Only 8 spaces. Owner was very friendly, as well as the other people." This highlights the park's prime location and the positive social environment. Another camper who stayed for a "travel contract" for "a few months" echoed these sentiments, noting it's a "Very pretty spot right on the river. Owners are very friendly and helpful." These firsthand accounts underscore the park's commitment to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for its guests, whether they are passing through or settling in for an extended period.
While the sounds of a nearby train "several times a day/night" might be a consideration for light sleepers, as mentioned by one reviewer, many RV enthusiasts find the rhythmic sounds of trains to be a unique and charming part of the rural landscape. The positive aspects of friendly owners, a beautiful riverside location, and a small, intimate community clearly outweigh this minor inconvenience for many. This overview sets the stage for exploring River's Edge RV Park as a prime destination for RVers seeking a tranquil and friendly retreat in West Virginia.

This essential feature allows RVers to fully utilize their vehicles' amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. (Information from external search suggests this park likely caters to "self-contained units" only, indicating full hook-ups without communal bathhouses.)
- Scenic Views and Natural Beauty: Being "Very pretty spot right on the river" means campers are treated to picturesque landscapes, ideal for relaxation and enjoying nature's splendor.
- Ideal for Extended Stays: The park's suitability for long-term visitors, as evidenced by a camper staying "for a few months for a travel contract," highlights its capacity to serve as a comfortable temporary home.
- Unique Train Ambience: While the "train that runs right next to it several times a day/night" can be noisy, some, like the reviewer, "rather enjoyed it," finding it a unique and authentic part of the West Virginia experience. For many, the distant rumble of a train adds a nostalgic charm to a riverside setting.
These highlights collectively paint a picture of River's Edge RV Park as a hidden gem offering a serene, well-equipped, and exceptionally friendly experience for RVers in the heart of West Virginia's river country.

Customer Reviews
Loved it! Right on Greenbriar river. Only 8 spaces. Owner was very friendly, as well as the other people.
Stayed here for a few months for a travel contract. Very pretty spot right on the river. Owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a train that runs right next to it several times a day/night so it can be noisy if you're a light sleeper, though I rather enjoyed it.
We stayed here for a few months. The owners are very nice and helpful. The sites are level and provide a great view of the Greenbrier River right out of your back window. We saw a lot of wildlife including river otters, bald eagles, and many different wild bird species.
We only stayed one night while passing through but it was perfect for us. This sweet couple has just a few RV spots but that's what we were looking for. Our 40ft 5th wheel with 4 slide outs fit just fine and only had one neighbor at the time. It has full hook ups but no laundry/washroom if you need that.
