The BEST place we've ever stayed overnight in through all of Oklahoma! JIM AND MARSHEILA (sp) could not have been nicer and more accommodating! They gave us a pull-thru site right up front. They even let us check out a little late (without penalty) so we could tour the ROUTE 66 MUSEUM & COMPLEX across the street the next morning. Convenient to many stores, shops, gas stations and grocers. Close to downtown. Reasonably priced for a night. Some shade trees and a clean bathhouse. Highly recommend if you're in WEST OKLAHOMA. Do not miss the museum. It's worth your time and money of $5/pp. (Sorry, my pics for this entry are not good - I took them from the vehicle.
May 01, 2021 · Rho M.One of the nicest and cleanest park I've stayed, clean bathrooms and laundry friendly staff will stay again for sure maybe even longer. Only Downside is some spots are near Dumpsters and lots of flies would kindly recommend moving them....
Jul 07, 2023 · Richard MOwner is wonderful! We stayed about 2 weeks and didn't get our paycheck on time a day the owner, he was so understanding and let us stay and pay him when our check came in. Its a small park and had space for around 20 RV's and were spaced apart perfectly. We stayed at a time that he was just starting the construction to expand, which was around 3 years ago. Very clean park and quiet and set back on a country road with plenty of beautiful scenery to explore if you have time.
Jun 17, 2024 · Jenny MartinThis campground was a hidden gem. While there are no frills on the site itself there is a park across the street with a large playground, carousel rides, mini golf and an amazing aquatic center (which was only $5 a person). The campground owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We ended up extending our stay due to high winds but had an extra day to explore the Route 66 museum, which was a great surprise with so much to explore. We will be returning!
Jul 03, 2024 · Kathleen Heins$23 rate based on a 15 day stay. We were skeptical about staying at an RV park right in town. But, this place has a ton of good reviews, so we gave it a try. Those reviewers were RIGHT!!! The folks running the place could not have been nicer. Very service oriented - made sure we had everything we needed. Except for the occasional moron with compensation issues roaring by on the street just outside the park, it was very quiet. We did have our AC/fans on all the time, but still - nice! Site was level, all hook-ups were good except the sewer was near the back middle of the site. We had to park over it so we couldn't dump (no big deal). Bathroom/shower building was ok - bring your own stool to sit on after your shower as none are in there. As many have said, the Route 66 Museum across the street is a must see. We walked to it. Big supermarket, Dollar General and KFC are also within walking distance. This one is for sure in the "will return to" column.
