We just wrapped up a fantastic family getaway at Red Run Camping and couldn’t be happier with our stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was just right. The Front Lake A-Frames were spotless and cozy perfect for our family to relax and unwind. The free fresh eggs were such an adorable and memorable touch; our kids loved checking daily to see if the hens had laid any. A simple joy, but one that made the stay feel extra special. The pool was great and the view was spectacular especially in the morning with a cup of coffee, enjoying the silence and the soothing sound of the fountain surrounded by nature. Truly peaceful! Firewood was included at check-in, and if we needed more, we could easily buy additional wood for $7 right at our campsite super convenient! The only suggestion we’d offer: adding a picnic table to each outer camp area would be a total bonus. It’d be a handy spot for outdoor meals and make the experience even cozier. 😊 All in all, Red Run Camping gave us a warm, family-friendly escape with charming extras and wonderful service. We’ll absolutely be recommending this place to friends and we’ll be back ourselves! We already planned for it.
Aug 24, 2025 · suzanne delgadoAwesome experience! A nice getaway if you’re looking for peace & serenity! Grounds are clean, nature is beautiful and the rooms are just amazing! We stayed in Sonoma 107, it was spotless, modern and comfortable…and well stocked! The lodge usually has events on the weekends. The property is not too big but big enough for families, something for everyone to avoid! We definitely will be returning!
Sep 20, 2025 · Crystal JamesI had the opportunity to take a trip here with my mom, and it was such a peaceful and refreshing experience. The property was spotless and beautifully maintained. We stayed in a cabin right on the water — the view of the sunset was incredible. We were warmly welcomed with locally made whoopie pies, which was such a thoughtful touch. In the morning, we got to collect fresh eggs from the on-site chicken coop for breakfast. It truly felt like a perfect little getaway. Highly recommend!
Aug 26, 2025 · Martina ZookMy daughter decided for her birthday that she wanted to go camping…but my wife and I wanted something a little nicer than a tent on the ground with 2 young kids…and a dog. Red Run was perfect for what we were looking for and provided a great place to stay with nice rooms and amenities. We spent every day at the pool and are planning to fish later. Our dog has loved getting to travel with us and we’ve been enjoying camp-fire meals every morning and night. We’ve explored some of the local area and the recommendations on their website were fantastic! We’ve also met some lovely friends who were staying the same time as us. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a great camping/glamping experience.
Aug 13, 2025 · Scott BourretMy family and I spent one night in the A-Frame Cabin 137 at Red Run Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were surprised by the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The cabin was perfectly decorated and spotlessly clean. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered. We had all the tools and amenities we needed to fully enjoy the kitchen, the bathroom, and our stay overall, including fun games for the whole family. My kids also enjoyed the pool and playground! The lake view is stunning, and the sound of the fountain is incredibly soothing. Watching the ducks swim was such a lovely sight, and the opportunity to make a bonfire by the lake was truly wonderful. The entire setting felt peaceful and special. We had a magical morning watching the mist spread over the water at sunrise. The early morning light was spectacular. As we were walking along the path, filled with joy, we were greeted by the warm smile of a staff member, which made our day even better. Everything was truly wonderful, and we will definitely return soon and bring more family with us. Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience.
