The park's proximity to local off-road parks is a notable advantage for enthusiasts of motorized outdoor recreation. Being "Close to the off-road park and restaurants is a plus," as highlighted by a customer review. This makes it a potential hub for those planning to spend their days exploring the trails and seeking adventure. While the exact driving distances to specific attractions or major highways would vary, its location within Rush implies that it is nestled in a more rural setting, characteristic of many outdoor recreational areas in Kentucky. Rush Creek RV Camp primarily focuses on providing the essential services for RV travelers, ensuring a functional and straightforward stay.
- Full Hookups: The park offers full hookups at its sites, which is a significant advantage for RVers. This typically includes connections for water, sewer, and electric. The presence of both 30-amp and 50-amp electrical connections suggests it can accommodate a variety of RVs, from smaller travel trailers to larger motorhomes. One reviewer explicitly stated, "Full hook ups was nice."
While the provided information highlights the core offering of full hookups, it is common for RV parks to offer additional amenities that enhance a stay. Based on standard RV park provisions, though not explicitly confirmed in the provided data, one might generally expect:
- Site Pads: Typically, RV sites are designated with a specific surface for parking. Reviews mention "3” rock" and "stone," indicating that sites have a foundational layer for parking.
- Trash Disposal: Convenient access to trash receptacles or a designated dump area is usually provided for guests.
It is important for prospective guests to contact the park directly to confirm the availability of any other desired services, as the primary focus from the provided information is on the fundamental full hookups.
Rush Creek RV Camp, while perhaps not boasting extensive resort-style amenities, offers several features that might appeal to specific RV travelers, particularly those prioritizing convenience and essential hookups.
- Full Hookups for All Sites: The consistent availability of full hookups (water, sewer, and electric) across sites is a significant highlight. This ensures that RVers have immediate access to all necessary utilities without having to rely on external facilities or limited resources, which is often a top priority for extended stays or comfortable travel.
- Proximity to Off-Road Park and Restaurants: A key advantage for many visitors is the park's location near local attractions, specifically an off-road park. This makes it an ideal base for those looking to engage in ATV or side-by-side adventures in the surrounding area. The convenience of nearby restaurants also means easy access to dining options after a day of activities. As a customer noted, being "Close to the off-road park and restaurants is a plus."
- Focus on Practicality: The park appears to focus on providing the core necessities for RV camping rather than extensive recreational facilities. For travelers who primarily seek a place to park with utilities and access to local activities, this straightforward approach can be a benefit.
It's important to note that some customer feedback points out areas for potential improvement, such as the placement of utilities and site conditions after rain. These observations suggest that while the fundamental services are in place, prospective visitors should manage expectations regarding certain aesthetic and functional aspects of the sites, particularly concerning ground cover and utility setup. However, the core offering of full hookups and the advantageous location for off-road enthusiasts remain key features of Rush Creek RV Camp.

Customer Reviews
This little park could be great, but it’s not! On the plus side it is full hook ups. BUT, the water, sewer, and electric are located on the wrong side of the RV. Walk out the door and trip over the utilities! In order to hook up everything has to cross over UNDER the RV. You park on 3” rock, but every thing else is dirt, and in our case when it rains it’s MUD! Close to the off-road park and restaurants is a plus. With a little investment in smaller gravel this could be a great place to stay! Hopefully the owner will invest in some smaller gravel and rearrange the parking so the utilities are located on the correct side. More grass would be very accommodating and mow what grass is there regularly. As is I probably would not stay there again, I would drive farther. I suggest you spend some money and make this a great little park!
We were there Memorial Day wknd , we were told there was access to rush off road park, but what they don’t tell you is that it’s illegal to drive your side-by-side on the road licensed or not. You can get a ticket or impounded . The second day we were closely watched and before we even left the cops were called on us. He was very friendly explaining and we appreciate that. If you plan to attempt the drive to rush BEWARE what could happen. The officer has even talked to the guy that owns the place saying it’s false advertisement. Now about the campsite. Full hook ups was nice. we rented the “private” site and it was less to be desired. The grass was all grown up through the stone you could barely see, the amount of money you pay for the weekend the site should look like all the other sites not worse.
We stayed here for the weekend while visiting Rush off Road. The property is very close to the Rush Park(less than 2 miles). The host, Sal, was amazing and so easy to work with. Sal provided so many amenities that packing was a breeze. The property was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. This was our first time visiting Rush but plan to visit often in the future. We will definitely be staying at this property for future visits.
Internet did not work to make phone calls or text. It is NOT accessible to Rush off-road. You have to drive 1.5 miles on the road and sxs are NOT legible on the road in the state of KY(although we were told by the host that as long as we had tags and insurance on it we would be fine) the Boyd county sheriff's Dept kindly had a 30 min discussion with us at our campsite that they are in no way shape or form legal on the road. He had had 15 calls from the neighbors that morning. We were not running fast, no music on etc the day before, we were not being disrespect to the neighborhood in any way. Save your self the time and rent from Krazy lady Kabins or stay on site at Rush. Not only will the sheriff's Dept write you a ticket they can impound your vehicle.
No access to Rush Off Road Park. Clean, nice little RV park. WiFi does not work, 8 of us all tried it, nothing. No cellphone service unless you find just the right spot, and it's very, very limited. But don't think you're gonna park there and ride to Rush Off Road Park. There is no access, and riding on the road 5 miles to get there, is 100% illegal with no exceptions. Local sheriff stopped by, informed us that under no circumstances were we to be riding on the road, and it's no doubt a ticket, and depending on the demeanor of the officer possible impound, with civil forfeiture of your vehicle. It seems a local dispute, over this property, has made every neighbor in a 10 mile radius, INSTANTLY, call the cops when you even walk toward your SXS. Park is clean, quiet, and everything works other than 30 amp electric is it, there's a separate 20 amp plug along with the 30 amp RV outlet, but they are tied together and you'll trip the main breaker if you try to run an electric skillet or something and your air conditioning in the RV. Sewer works fine, water works fine. Like I said, it's clean, quiet, and nice. Park would be 5+ stars if the access to the ride park was figured out, and the Wi-Fi worked.
