While the experience can vary, as with any community, Silver Creek RV Park aims to provide a consistent base for individuals and families seeking an affordable and settled RV lifestyle in the Azle area.

As a park where many residents choose to stay for extended periods, it fosters a unique atmosphere compared to transient campgrounds. It's designed for those who prioritize a fixed location, access to essential utilities, and a sense of belonging within a community of fellow RVers. For Texans navigating the options for long-term RV living, understanding the nuances of such a park is key, and Silver Creek RV Park offers a practical solution for those looking to establish roots, even if temporary, in the dynamic landscape of North Texas. It's a place where the focus is on providing a stable and functional environment for its long-term residents.

Silver Creek RV Park is conveniently situated at 801 Silver Creek Azle Rd, Azle, TX 76020, USA. This address places it squarely within the city of Azle, a growing community that bridges Tarrant and Parker Counties in North Texas. For residents of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, Azle offers a suburban feel with a touch of rural charm, making it an accessible location for an extended RV stay without being too far from urban amenities.

The park's location on Silver Creek Azle Road indicates its presence on a fairly direct route within the Azle area, contributing to its accessibility. From major highways, connecting to Azle is generally straightforward, ensuring a manageable drive for RVers. This ease of access is a significant benefit for locals who might be commuting to work in nearby cities or simply seeking a permanent RV base that allows them to maintain their connections to the larger North Texas region. While the park itself offers a residential feel, its proximity to Azle's services, including grocery stores, dining options, and local attractions, adds to its convenience. This balance of a settled environment with local accessibility makes Silver Creek RV Park a practical consideration for Texans seeking long-term RV living.

Based on the provided customer reviews and typical offerings of long-term RV parks, Silver Creek RV Park offers a foundational set of services catering primarily to extended stays. It's important to note that while some services are consistently provided, experiences with their accessibility and management can vary.

  • Full Hookup RV Sites: Guests can expect sites equipped with water, sewer, and electrical connections, essential for long-term RV living. The connections are noted to be at the very back of sites, potentially requiring extensions. The sewer connection is also described as being about 6 inches off the ground, which might require lifting hoses for complete drainage.

  • Laundry Facilities: A laundry room is available, described as "nice and kept clean," with machines that are "inexpensive compared to most."

  • Dog Park: The park features a dog park, catering to pet owners. However, there have been mixed experiences regarding access and enforcement of leash rules within the park and in the dog park itself.

  • Utilities Metered: While a common practice, the park's utility billing, particularly the method of meter reading, has been a point of concern for some past residents.

Prospective residents should be aware of these points and consider confirming the current status and operational policies of all services directly with park management.

Silver Creek RV Park, particularly for its target demographic of long-term residents, offers several features and highlights that contribute to its appeal as a steady base for RV living in Azle, TX. While some aspects of management and park etiquette have received mixed feedback, core features remain consistent:

  • Primarily a Full-Time / Stationary Park: This is a key characteristic. For Texans seeking a more permanent or extended living situation in their RV, Silver Creek RV Park provides a community of fellow long-term residents. This can foster a sense of stability and camaraderie among neighbors who are settled in.

  • Affordable Living Option: While not explicitly stated as "low rent," the nature of an extended-stay park often implies a more cost-effective solution for housing compared to traditional renting, especially when considering the inclusion of RV site amenities.

  • On-Site Laundry Facilities: A significant convenience for long-term residents, the laundry building is described as "nice and kept clean," with "inexpensive" machines. This provides essential on-site access to necessary facilities.

  • Dog Park: The presence of a dedicated dog park is a valuable feature for pet owners, providing a designated area for their animals, even if its management and accessibility have seen varying experiences.

  • Owner Understanding and Patience (in some cases): As highlighted in one review, there have been instances where the owners demonstrated patience and understanding regarding payment difficulties due to medical emergencies, which speaks to a level of compassion that can be a significant highlight for residents facing unforeseen circumstances.

  • Established Community: With many long-term residents, the park has an established community feel, which can be beneficial for those looking to integrate into a stable RV living environment.

Potential residents should be prepared for a park where typical "park etiquette" for transient visitors may differ, and it's advisable to inquire about specific site requirements like needing hose extensions for connections.

Information regarding specific promotions or special offers for Silver Creek RV Park is not publicly detailed beyond its general offering as a long-term, potentially affordable living option. RV parks that cater predominantly to extended stays often structure their pricing with monthly or even yearly rates that inherently offer a better value than daily or weekly transient rates. This consistent, long-term pricing model is often considered their primary "promotion."

For Silver Creek RV Park, the core value proposition appears to be its suitability for extended stays and full-time RV living. While there aren't advertised "specials" in the traditional sense, the park's model itself aims to provide a stable and cost-effective solution for residents.

This place is just a val away from being wonderful place to stay. You will not get your deposit back if you stay longer than a year. I lived there for four years, and it could easily be a five-star place if not for Val. DOLORES UMBRIDGE is who comes to mind if you don't know what I mean I suggest watching Villain Therapy: DOLORES UMBRIDGE on YouTube to get a clear picture of how she behaves. We were falsely accused of all kinds of criminal activity from vandalism and speeding to my dog biting her. We were even locked out of the dog park despite being the few who owned and used our waste bags. When she tried to evict us over the bite I requested she follow due process and call the dog sheriff to report the bite but she refused and barred us from the office. At this point, we were asked to leave with a text telling us we owed them utilities. If you decide to stay at least protect yourself by taking monthly pictures of your meter, val has been known to record the numbers higher than they are to run up the bill to force you out sooner if her false allegations campaign fails. On the other hand i had been diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer and through the whole ordeal the owners were very patient and understanding when we couldnt pay on time due to hospitalizations ect. As i said before this place is just a val away from being wonderful place to stay.

We stayed for a few days while visiting family and quickly realized this is more of a full-time stationary park. Most of the residents seem like they’re permanent here so the typical park etiquette didn’t seem to apply. People were walking through and around others sites constantly. Dogs were off leash going to and from the dog park and ran into the roadway in front of our truck. Extra vehicles in the roadway made navigating the park with our rig a little tricky. The only services we used were laundry. The building is nice and kept clean. Machines were inexpensive compared to most. No problems with management. There are several speed bumps throughout which is fine, but there are potholes that need filled. All of the connections (water, sewer, and electric) are all located at the very back of the sites. So be sure to have extensions available, especially sewer hoses. Sewer connection is also about 6 inches off the ground. So you’ll be lifting your hoses to get them completely emptied.

We had to be in the DFW area for medical reasons and needed a place to stay in our RV. Silver Creek was exceptional. We rented a covered RV spot for a month and the amenities were great...The wifi service, water, sewage and electrical worked great with no issues! The other tenants were very friendly and helpful as were the staff that we interacted with. The gated entry provided a sense of security, as did the security cameras placed around the property. If you need a quiet, affordable and safe place to stay for a few days or several months, I highly recommend Silver Creek RV Park!

We spent the summer here while waiting for our house to be finished! We have no complaints, the bathrooms/showers were always super clean along with the laundry room. We were in a covered spot at the back it was very quiet no one ever bothered us at all. We will definitely use them again if we need a campground local!
