Very quiet area. The camp sites are nice sized and there's a variety of types to choose from. The 2 pools are now heated and there's other activities to do as well. The mini golf course is really in sad condition and needs to be rebuilt, but it can still be played. Overall a great place to stay
Aug 14, 2025 · Robert DonleyWe rented this cabin just to sleep at night. We were up early each day shopping and exploring new places we have not visited before. Cabin was clean and very comfortable except the beds. They were covered in a plastic mattress cover which make noise when moving around and it made the bed hot. To compensate, we turned a/c down. Microwave quit working but they were prompt in fixing the problem. We will be there again
Sep 26, 2025 · Berkley KingWe stayed here as part of our Thousand Trails membership. I tried to book online but it said there was limited availability and I had to call for the reservation. I asked for a premium site but was told a standard site would be suitable for our trailer. What they didn’t mention was that a standard site wasn’t full hookups. When we arrived, we found out we had no sewer connection. Luckily, we were able to go without dumping for the time we were there. We were in one of a group of 14 sites with 50 amp service & electric. Only 2 of the 13 other sites were occupied when we arrived; one was next to us & one across from us. It would have been nice to have more space between the occupied sites. Our site was at the end of the road which was nice. All the sites had picnic tables & fire rings. As there were 9 unused sites in the area we were in, I’m not sure why we were unable to book a site online. We didn’t use any of the amenities offered but the campground seemed well maintained. They were adding stone to the roads the day we arrived. We would have liked to play mini golf but the course needed cleaning from the tree debris. We would have had to sweep most of the holes to play. The people in the office seemed friendly and helpful. There were plenty of weekend activities & it was quiet at night. I imagine this would be a great campground for families with children. This campground is close to our house so I don’t know if we will go there again. We were camping for the first time in a new trailer and didn’t want to be far from home in case we had any problems so this location was ideal for our needs.
Jul 15, 2025 · Linda LewisWe will be checking in today. We have been here many times and it is a nice place. However, check in is at 3 oclock for cabins. We got here early, they will not even allow us to stay on the grounds. The cabins are ready, they just will not let us check in. That’s fine, but to not even allow us to sit near the lake until 3 is ridiculous, especially since the cabin cost over $300 per night. Time to look for another place to camp. Corporate greed at it’s finest. Very disappointing. And the place is basically empty. Maybe this is why.
Jun 27, 2025 · ValFirst time tent camping with our 3 kiddos. Absolutely LOVED our experience at Spring Gulch! Everything about it. Location, site size, friendly staff, activities for the whole family, very clean, and just beautiful. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!
