The sites were level and the views were great. Showers very clean and two dog parks which were uphill or downhill and the one that was uphill was not hard to get to. The one downhill was a good walk but a little steep for feeble legs. Some sites were uphill to pull into but not difficult. Love the area that this campground is located in. Be courteous with the Amish and their carts when driving through the area. This campground could be a five star but I have a hard time giving five stars to anything.
Sep 04, 2025 · Kelly and ConnieI have to say, this campground was pristine - the grounds are meticulously kept, the bathrooms were spotless, and the hilltop views overlooking the Amish countryside are captivating. I stayed in a patio area w/full hookups and the flowers, lighting, and patio furniture were thoughtfully placed creating a welcoming atmosphere. It was quiet, safe, and all the spots seemed pretty spacious. If you’ve never been to this part of PA I highly recommend it for serene views and an educational experience learning about the Amish culture. Take a tour of their farms or ride a buggy! A city girl like me really loved the experience. Awesome 1pm checkout time was appreciated!!! (Tip for WiFi: I did use my signal booster. I was staying towards the back of the campground and seemed to need it so I could work.)
Jul 22, 2025 · AutumnAlways a very quiet stay! The views are stunning. The sites are generous and well maintained. This visit was site J. The grounds and bathrooms are very clean too! We stay here several times each year and our only issue is the WiFi does not work as it should with cable no longer available. See you next Spring!
Sep 15, 2025 · Rebecca SzaboI spent two nights here with my 18-foot travel trailer while visiting Lancaster County. The campground is nestled on the side of a hill, offering a breathtaking pastoral view of the farmland below. The grounds were meticulously maintained, with lush green grass. My campsite was a level gravel area nestled among the trees. While there weren’t many activities to engage in, the view was simply stunning. There weren’t many options for kids, but there was a nice playground. It’s worth noting that many people here had dogs, which is also quite common. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this campground for anyone visiting this beautiful area.
Jun 07, 2025 · Ed TubridyMy wife and I have stayed here twice now and love it. Very well kept and peaceful. No pool and only a small playground area, but those things don't bother us at all. For first timers I'd recommend either the Executive Row or Countryside View sites, which are tiered into the hillside overlooking the farmlands. There are many other sites hidden in wooded areas to the back of the property which gives a totally different experience depending on what you prefer. We have done Countryside View on both visits and may give the wooded sites a try next time. The campground is about 15 minutes from the towns of Intercourse and Bird in Hand which both have many shops to check out. The Amish bakery that was across the street from the campground unfortunately closed recently due to the owners retiring, which is a bummer. The negatives are minor. Water pressure seems low and inconsistent, an issue we noticed a year prior on first visit and still existed this time. Pressure was low even after many others left at the end of a weekend. It didn't bother us, was just something we noticed. Other thing would be that the fenced dog area in the front of the campground is very small even though there is a lot of space to expand. The dog run area in back of campground is notably larger. Overall we really enjoy staying here and will be back many more times in the future.
