Customer Reviews
We cannot wait to go back! Very nice campground. There are alot of seasonal sights with such nice people! We felt like we were in a new neighborhood, so friendly and helpful. Our site had lots of shade. It was a super hot weekend, but we had no problem. We were site 79. The bathrooms, showers, laundry were very clean. We ate at the restaurant and the food was very good. We brought our side by sides and a seasonal camper took us out to show us a few trails. Such a nice man! It has a great playground surrounded with sand if you have little kids. A small mini golf for kids, basketball, volleyball. A little creek runs through if your kiddos want to cool off in the water. The town does have a swimming pool as well, only a few miles away from camp. We can't wait to go back next year!
We stayed at Red Barn Campground for 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend while we visited friends who lived in the area. The park is well maintained with beautiful, lush grass. Some sights are on the grass, others have a gravel parking area. Picnic tables and firepits are at the sites. Check-in and parking was easy; sites are level. Sites are a little more spacious than many private parks. Wi-fi worked fine, as did our Verizon hot spot. The park was packed and busy over the weekend but we didn't have any problem with too much noise from late partying campers. We had a pull-through, full-hookup site.
Campground was perfect for what we needed. Such lovely people and hospitality. Bathrooms and showers included. The restaurant is also a lot of fun. Lots of options without having to drive into town. Thanks for having us!
Awesome food. Nice decor. Great campground. Internet reservations are jacked up. You get charged a fee for reserving a spot, and then a fee for renting the spot. They won't do anything via phone.
Great spot to put camper in the Driftless Area. Trout stream runs through the campground offering opportunities to fish and creek stomp. Well-maintained bathrooms (showers coin operated). Mini golf was free and passed some time (course is a little rough/uneven). We did not eat at restaurant, only because we packed enough food, but was often busy with patrons. Would recommend and will come back.
