As a highly popular Florida State Park campground, St. Andrews State Park Campground generally operates under the standard state park reservation system and pricing. Specific commercial "promotions" are not typically offered. However, Floridians can leverage the following advantages to enhance their camping experience or increase their chances of securing a site:
-
Florida Resident Booking Window: Florida residents have a significant advantage! You can make campsite reservations up to 11 months in advance, which is one month earlier than non-residents (who can book 10 months out). This early access is crucial for securing a spot at such a sought-after location, especially for waterfront sites or during peak seasons and holidays.
-
Off-Season Opportunities: While St. Andrews is popular year-round, visiting during the shoulder seasons (e.g., late spring, early fall) might offer slightly better availability and potentially a more serene experience, though rates typically remain consistent.
-
Annual State Park Pass: For frequent visitors to Florida's State Parks, purchasing an annual park pass can provide savings on daily entrance fees, which would apply to your vehicle's entry into St. Andrews State Park.
Due to its immense popularity, reservations for St. Andrews State Park Campground are highly recommended and often necessary far in advance. New sites become available for reservation daily at 8 a.m. Eastern time. The most reliable way to check availability and make a reservation is through the official Florida State Parks online reservation system or by calling their toll-free number.

Customer Reviews
Love this campground but it's sure hard to get a site! All sites are FHU & level. Very clean. Campground bayfront & the gulf is on the other side. Beautiful beach & water. Away from the hustle & bustle of town but also not far to go when you do want to eat & shop.
This is one of our favourite Florida State parks! The views over the inlet and lights at night are great. We've had deer at our site and dolphins frolicking in the water behind our RV. Ospreys, crabs, bunnies and gators can all be found here. The beach and jetty are all a short bike or drive away.
A nice park, some areas under construction but not obstructing! Restrooms clean, good biking, snorkeling, fishing... if you get bored here it's your own fault!
We enjoyed our time at the campground. We walked everywhere during our week there. It was a nice quiet campground right on the water.
Stayed in rv park. Very clean and nice
