First time staying at this campground and it was very nice. Large lots with full hookups and concrete patio pads. They have a very nice and clean bathhouse. The river boat was not running yet as we were there early in the season but will be going back later this summer for a river cruise.
May 09, 2025 · Scott DennisNice, newer park located along the Grand River. We had a site which backed-up to the river and had a concrete pad for the picnic table, gravel parking area. Park is clean and tidy. Staff was helpful. Great location for camping near Grand Rapids.
Feb 10, 2025 · Susan SchwadererMemorial Day weekend 2025. First time here but WE WILL BE BACK! So quiet and peaceful along the river. Very dog friendly. We didn’t reserve for the river cruise (our fault) but a couple of extra seats were located for us for the Sat night cruise with a great band (Boot Strap Boys I think??) So nice to see kids enjoying the playground. Saw an entire family playing kickball in the field with no phones or video games in sight. Met many other very nice campers, and also ran into employees of one of my clients. Small world. We will definitely be back. This will become one of our annual trips.
May 28, 2025 · Tim JacksonWonderful campground !! Beautiful view on the river. We stayed 3 nights in space #34 with our 43 ft Class A. Easy in/out & spacious yard. Nice cement patio with gravel ground for RV’s. Clean. Lots of good activity at the pool. You do need to drive through a residential street towards the Airport to get to the Campground. Airport noise was NOT a problem!! There is also a paddle boat with tours available. Very cool. Yes…. we would definitely stay here again.
Jul 21, 2024 · . VannoyLove this campground. Immaculate bathrooms stocked with good TP and absorbent paper towels. Scenic and peaceful location. Not a whole lot for kids (standard playground and pool) but we don't want too many kids around anyway. Annoying little buggers. Did I mention clean and refreshing bathrooms? That's really important. A little afraid of the luxuriously abundant, possibly carnivorous, poison ivy. I fear it is developing sentience and may creep over my camper some night and devour us both. Especially now that I've provoked it. Would probably cost a fortune to totally eradicate though and I don't want to pay more to camp here so there's that. Highly recommend.
