This was a cute little spot to camp. We had a tent site on trail 200. We had a nice corner spot and there was a good amount of privacy and that was a very nice sized lot. The bathrooms are right there as well so super close to the camping spot. There were no mosquitoes the entire weekend and it was a very clean park! There are some waterfalls right on site to hike and that was a little less than a mile hike that was super pretty and fun!
Jun 18, 2025 · Joelle GVery quiet and easy to book campground due to its location close to Letchworth state park/Watkins Glen state park. The gorge trail is nice with a natural swimming pool and several waterfalls alone the way. Just wish it had more electric sites and newer bathhouses. The road to the campground could use some improvements.
Jul 10, 2024 · Aaron TangI'm not impressed with this campground. 🙁 It's much larger than the previous campgrounds but the roads are terrible. The sites are very rough and muddy. 😖There's no gravel site surfaces here. The sites are bigger than the previous park and there's more room between them. The camping spots down on the river are huge. But, very inconsiderate locals. 🤬Using their generators outside of the published hours. Kids running all over the place, through your campsites, playing ball,🏀 riding scooters. Bouncing balls on what's left of the paved roads. 😣 Making noise after midnight, shining flashlights 🔦at the campers in the middle of the night. 🙈 I suppose that is a weekend getaway for the locals and they just let their kids do whatever.😡 But I wouldn't come back to visit..... Truth is the parents aren't any better behaved 😩
Aug 08, 2024 · Michael ScottSome of the nicest waterfalls and trails on a state park! Awesome camp sites and decent showers, they don't have power but we still managed to get through the weekend and had an amazing time. 45$ for the whole weekend wasn't bad.
May 31, 2025 · Billy PayneThe gorge is beautiful, with that being said. The campsites are rough, the bathrooms are in desperate need of upgrades, and the natural swimming hole will be too overcrowded on the weekends. If you plan accordingly thou. You could have a good time.
