From its gorgeous landscapes to its top-notch staff, Thousand Trails Hershey is a true gem in our state’s recreational landscape.
Thousand Trails Hershey RV and Camping Resort is situated on 200 acres of beautiful, rolling farmland, offering a picturesque valley setting that slopes down to a small, tranquil fishing lake. The campground is renowned for being "very well maintained" and for its friendly, professional atmosphere, creating a safe and welcoming environment for all guests, from couples to large families.
The resort provides a wide range of accommodations, including spacious RV sites with various hookup options, dedicated tent sites, and even rental cabins for those seeking a more furnished experience. Visitors consistently praise the quality of the park, noting its cleanliness, especially the pool area, which is described as "perfect" and "clean and nice." The staff is frequently highlighted in reviews, with mentions of team members being "on the ball," "very friendly," and constantly engaging with guests—a testament to the campground’s dedication to exceptional service.
Being just a short, six-mile drive from the excitement of Hershey Park and Hershey's Chocolate World, the campground offers the ideal balance: a peaceful retreat in nature with easy access to one of Pennsylvania’s most popular family attractions. The natural beauty of the park, including beautiful geese and local wildlife, further enhances the overall appeal of this wonderful destination.
The convenience of Thousand Trails Hershey for Pennsylvania residents cannot be overstated. Located in Lebanon County, the campground offers excellent accessibility from major metropolitan areas across the state, including Harrisburg, Lancaster, and even Philadelphia.
The physical address is 493 S Mount Pleasant Rd, Lebanon, PA 17042, USA. The campground itself is thoughtfully laid out across its expansive acreage. It features interior roads that are reported to be "easy" to navigate, even for large RVs. Gorgeous park, very well maintained, staff is great, they are on the ball. Their membership sales lady is top notch. In the park constantly engaging with guests, giving out popsicles and speaking to people. Very friendly. The geese and wildlife here is beautiful, the pool is perfect. The only thing I saw that was needed was a new coat of paint on the miniature golf course. Close to resources and Hershey Park.
Jul 13, 2025 · Man Spa ClubThis place is wonderful. They have many amenities, you can fish and paddle boat. The sites are spacious, H was my favorite loop. They have an indoor hot tub and a large outdoor pool. Definitely going back there.

Jul 28, 2025 · Kimberly ClarkPool is not heated literally ice cold water Camp store is not open m, t, w, opens on Thursday at 12. Can’t get firewood when not open lots of other places to buy it though close by. 1 play ground In whole park not even swings all play equipment was covered in sand.putt putt was completely trashy long nails hanging out of wood looks like hasn’t been cleaned up in 10 years. Fire pits are sunk inches in the ground. Campground could be much nicer with some time effort and money for the price we rented our cabin for this place needs some work and attention.
Jun 21, 2025 · Kim CurryVery disappointed in Thousand Trails. We made a reservation some time ago for two weeks. Unfortunately i had to revise the reservation for only one week. Initially we were given a site that worked for or 40 foot motorhome. After revising the reservation we were given a site that we could not fit into. I immediately called the park office and the gal i spoke with indicated she would see what she could do and get back to me. When i did not hear from her I called again the next day and again she said the site assigned would not work but again took my number and said she would call me back when she figured it out. So unfortunately it comes down do i drive the distance and hope they find something or do i cancel.
