As a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) campground, Six Mile Creek typically operates with a standardized fee structure rather than offering frequent, publicly advertised "promotions" in the commercial sense. However, there are standard programs and pricing considerations that can be seen as beneficial "offers" for campers, particularly for eligible individuals:
Federal Recreation Passes: Six Mile Creek Campground, like many federal recreation sites, honors various America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes. These passes can provide significant discounts on camping fees for eligible individuals, such as:
- Senior Pass: Available for U.S. citizens or permanent residents aged 62 or over. This pass often provides a 50% discount on standard amenity fees at campgrounds.
- Access Pass: Available for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities. This pass also typically offers a 50% discount on standard amenity fees.
- Military Pass: Available for active duty military members and their dependents. While it grants free access to federal recreation sites, the camping discount typically applies similar to the Senior/Access Pass.
It's always recommended to check the specific benefits and eligibility requirements for these passes on recreation.gov or with the campground directly.
Seasonal Operations: The campground's opening from April 1st to Labor Day means campers can plan their visits knowing the park is fully operational during these peak seasons, providing consistent access to all amenities.
Reasonable Pricing: While specific daily rates were not provided, COE campgrounds are generally known for offering very competitive and affordable camping fees, especially considering the quality of facilities (electric, water, clean restrooms, dump station) and the prime waterfront locations they often boast. Prices can range, for example, from $26.00 to $60.00 depending on the site type.
Reservable Sites: The ability to reserve campsites in advance, particularly online via Recreation.gov, can be considered a "convenience offer." This allows campers to secure their preferred spot, especially for popular weekends, avoiding the uncertainty of first-come, first-served availability.
For the most current information on daily rates, any specific site availability, and detailed rules regarding federal passes, prospective campers should always visit Recreation.gov or contact Six Mile Creek Campground directly using the provided phone numbers.

Customer Reviews
The Hoste Anan (I'm not sure of the name) was very helpful and friendly answered our question and helped us move to a location close to the bathroom. The park was clean and we fell safe. We walked down the entrance road for over a 3 mile and the road was tree lined and was like walking into the past every one that past waved and obe stopped to ask we need a ride. We will be back and tell all of our frends.
Nice Corps Park. There had been fairly recent flooding, but most of area had been cleaned up.
Visiting here with a group of 3 motorcycle riders doing the South East Backcountry Discovery Route. The sites were clean. Bathroom/shower is climate controlled, clean, with hot water and good pressure. Would visit again and do recommend. Rebecca, the grounds keeper was kind as well.
Run down campground. Roads are broken. No cleaning going on. Would not recommend.
It's a nice camp ground with showers, bathrooms, laundry room and playgrounds. The lots are maintained but not perfect. There is no docks on any of the lost and hard access to you boat if you feel like pulling it up on land. Although the campground is nice it could use keeping up a little better. There is no cellphone service at this park.
