I do not recommend this place to outsiders such as campers, travel nurses and do not recommend staying in their cabins! I stayed in the cabin, #2 to be exact. The whole time we stayed there, my boyfriend was ate up with bed bugs. When we realized it, we decided to leave because the staff would not do nothing about it and did not seem to care. Also, the cabins seem to be for the residents family when they come to visit. They do not clean them after each stay from renters. So with that being said, if anything inside of the camp ground gets stolen or something gets damaged the staff will come to you and point fingers no matter what time of night or day it is. We were accused of washing our dogs in the wash house which I never used, PERIOD. I've never stayed at a place such as this and will never stay there again. They also kept our money for the last week we would have been there. Guess they needed that to clean and get rid of the bedbugs! Sorry sorry sorry campground.
Jul 23, 2024 · Kelly JonesThough I thought the cabin I stayed in could have been a little bit cleaner, and fresher smelling. My overall experience at the campground was sensational!!!! I can't wait to return!!! One downfall is that they do not offer tent sites. The people were absolutely wonderful! The residents of this beautiful community are the friendliest you'd meet anywhere!!! People picked up after their dogs the place was as clean as a whistle. Also peaceful and quiet.
Sep 03, 2022 · BethPeaceful, pleasant, nature getaway spot that's very inexpensive. Enjoyed the little cabins several summers with a family of 6! Nice to be able to dip in the pool, play games in the arcade, go fishing off the dock or put your john boat in. Favorite time is always night time, making a fire, making s'mores with the kids, sitting around talking with the sounds of summer in the background...crickets, owls, and kids playing tag or hide n seek. Actually being kids and having fun outdoors. We always made our trips device free, and there's no TV in the cabin either. Feels like a vacation like the vacations us parents had as kids. Very refreshing. The cabins have screened in porches of nice size and a couple rocking chairs out. They're small but just big enough. Will definitely bring a family closer lol. It has a bunk bed, small shower, toilet, sink and counter top area, with a coffee maker, and best of all a freezing cold ac unit. It's a great place for young families in the Greenville area who just need a little get away. We know we aren't far from home, but the kids think they're on a full out vacation. Easily able to invite some family or friends that can pitch a tent right outside the cabin which is also right along the river. When our kids were smaller, they thought this was the best. Made lots of sweet, cherished memories. Its definitely good for keeping your family close. Even good for new parents who need a break and some time together just to get a breather. And home is just a hop and a skip away.
Jun 15, 2024 · Ash W.This is absolutely the best campsite. For the price you pay and what you get you can't do better than tranter's Creek resort. The people are friendly, the staff is amazingly wonderful. They are very helpful. I can't recommend it enough.
Sep 13, 2024 · Miracle YorkiesI was thoroughly surprised at the cleanliness, safety and discreteness of the site. Many people who live in the town don’t even know that the resort is there. It is a lovely place to go and get away on vacation. No one will know that you’re there unless you tell them we have some of the best nights sleep there people are very cautious and mindful of the resort rules. It’s just a wonderful place to vacation.
