Triangle Farm Campground About
Wisconsin is renowned for its diverse camping opportunities, catering to a wide spectrum of preferences, from bustling family resorts to secluded natural havens. For many Wisconsinites, a camping trip is more than just pitching a tent or parking an RV; it's about finding the right atmosphere, whether that's energetic and family-focused or relaxed and adult-oriented.
Nestled in the charming village of Fremont, Wisconsin, Triangle Farm Campground offers a distinct camping experience that, according to some local reviews, leans towards a more mature and laid-back crowd. While some might jokingly suggest its name could be "Triangle Tavern and Campground," this playful remark highlights a key aspect of its appeal: a welcoming social environment centered around its bar, where good company and a friendly bartender are highly valued.
Triangle Farm Campground positions itself as a destination for those looking to "unwind and have drinks with a great bartender," making it an ideal spot for adult campers and groups of friends. While it may not be the primary choice for families seeking abundant kid-specific activities, it excels at providing a relaxed atmosphere where conversation flows freely and a sense of camaraderie takes root. It offers essential campground amenities, including RV hookups and a boat launch, catering to those who appreciate fishing and easy river access. For Wisconsinites seeking a mature, social, and unpretentious camping getaway in Central Wisconsin, Triangle Farm Campground provides a unique and inviting option where the focus is firmly on good times and great company.
Triangle Farm Campground is conveniently situated at 9312 Riverview Dr, Fremont, WI 54940, USA. Fremont is a charming village located in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, often referred to as the "White Bass Capital of the World" due to its prime location on the Wolf River and its connection to the famous Chain O' Lakes. This geographical placement is a significant advantage for the campground.
The "Riverview Dr" address strongly indicates its proximity, and likely direct access, to the Wolf River. This is a major draw for anglers and boating enthusiasts, as the Wolf River is renowned for its fishing opportunities, particularly for white bass, walleye, and sturgeon. The campground is noted to have a "Boat Launch," making it exceptionally convenient for guests who bring their own watercraft.
Accessibility to Fremont and Triangle Farm Campground is straightforward for many Wisconsinites. Fremont is located within a reasonable driving distance from major population centers such as Appleton (approximately 13 miles away), Green Bay (around 35 miles), and Oshkosh (about 22 miles). This makes it an ideal spot for weekend getaways or longer seasonal stays for residents of these and surrounding areas. The flat terrain of the region ensures easy travel, even for those pulling RVs. While providing a relaxed, almost secluded atmosphere, the campground's location still offers convenient access to local amenities in Fremont and nearby towns, where campers can find supplies, local eateries, and additional recreational opportunities. This blend of riverfront recreation and regional accessibility makes Triangle Farm Campground a practical and appealing choice for adult-oriented camping in Central Wisconsin.

Triangle Farm Campground distinguishes itself with several key features and highlights, particularly appealing to a specific segment of the Wisconsin camping community:
Adult-Oriented Social Atmosphere: This is the most prominent highlight. Reviews consistently emphasize that it's a "great place for campers without kids who like to visit with people and have fun" and a spot to "unwind and have drinks with a great bartender." The on-site bar and "adult-oriented" game room reinforce this focus on mature socializing, making it ideal for those seeking a lively but not necessarily family-centric environment.
Excellent River Access for Fishing and Boating: Situated on or very near the Wolf River, the campground's "Boat Launch" and proximity to prime fishing waters are major draws. For anglers and boaters, this immediate access to a renowned waterway like the Wolf River is invaluable, offering superb opportunities for fishing for white bass, walleye, and other species.
Friendly and Helpful Staff/Owner ("Jo's"): The specific mention of "Jo's" being a "Great guy great business great launch!" suggests a positive relationship with the management or a key staff member. This personal touch and helpfulness contribute significantly to a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests.
Convenient On-Site Amenities for Anglers and Campers: The presence of a "bait & tackle shop" directly on-site is a huge convenience for fishing enthusiasts, eliminating the need to leave the campground for supplies. Basic comforts like hot showers, a dump station, a general store, and laundry facilities further enhance the convenience of a stay.
Relaxed, Unpretentious Vibe: The overall tone of the reviews suggests a laid-back, no-frills environment where the focus is on good company and simple pleasures. For campers who find large, amenity-packed resorts overwhelming, Triangle Farm Campground offers a refreshing alternative.
Seasonal Camping Potential: While not explicitly stated as a highlight in the reviews, the nature of a campground with a strong social scene often lends itself to seasonal campers who return year after year, building a community. This allows for a consistent "home away from home" without the constant setup and teardown.
Based on the provided information, Triangle Farm Campground does not explicitly list traditional "promotions" or "special offers" such as seasonal discounts or package deals. However, its fundamental offerings constitute a value proposition that serves as a continuous "special offer" to its target audience.
Value-Oriented Pricing: While specific rates are not in the reviews, general public data from sources like CampingRoadTrip.com indicates daily rates starting around $23.00 (based on 2012 data, current rates would need confirmation). This suggests a competitive pricing strategy for a campground offering RV hookups, a boat launch, and on-site amenities, making it an affordable option for many campers.
Included Social Atmosphere and Entertainment: The primary "promotion" is the inherent value of the adult-oriented social environment centered around the bar. For campers who prioritize socializing, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere, the inclusive nature of this vibe, along with the "adult-oriented" game room, offers significant non-monetary value that goes beyond a simple campsite rental fee. It's a key reason for return visits.
Direct River Access Convenience: The on-site boat launch and proximity to the Wolf River for prime fishing and boating are invaluable for enthusiasts. This convenience saves time and effort that might otherwise be spent finding and paying for off-site access, effectively adding value to the camping experience.

Customer Reviews
Name should be Triangle Tavern and Campground. If you're looking for a place for kids this might not be it. If you are looking for a place to unwind and have drinks with a great bartender this is your place!
Love Jo's! Great guy great business great launch!
Great place good folks
Aug. 2016 - Quick family getaway, with 3 older teens. Rented a pontoon from marina in Fremont, WI. Just cruising around. Found this INCREDIBLE CAMPGROUND. I only gave them 4 stores because we didn't actually sleep there. we had rented a small house up the river, cruised up and down the river, ran out of bait and stopped here at they had a dock and a bait store. BEST DECISION OF OUR LIVES. Hands down the nicest people ever! I feel horrible I don't recall the names, a beautiful, friendly woman, American Indian I recall her saying, has adult children, possibly one of the kindest, warmest people I had the pleasure of meeting. We stayed for about 1+ hour having drinks while the kids played pool. This place was so great, we made a point to ask how to get there on the roads, and we went back later that night. One of the folks there told us of an awesome restaurant (I think her hubby) in Metz - Here & There Pub & Grill. afterwards we came back to the Triangle to hang out and have drinks, we loved it so much and felt so comfortable. The bartender in the evening was a lovely blonde woman. I highly recommend this place & CANNOT WAIT to come back. (my friend the first lady was there that night too-and i was so happy to see her again)
The best place every nicest people and facilities
