Customer Reviews
Great stop for 2 nights on our way west from VA. My wife had lived in Lawton for many years in the past. Great access to Lawton, and especially to Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Bath house here far exceeded our expectations! Great communication through the airbnb site used to book here. Needed to delay our checkout a bit, & that was no problem. Highly recommend!
Great location beautiful place. We used a pull thru spot it was easy to get everything set up. Not too loud even with being close to highway. The bath house is very nice and clean. Didn't use wifi but it was available to use. We would go back when in the area again since it is close to the Holly city and the refuge we had a great time.
I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. This place has so much potential. It came with a lot of extras. Disk golf, horse shoes, corn hole, and swings. The view of the Wichita Mountains is visible from the site. The good out ways the bad, and can be fixed in the future. The sites are really well leveled side to side but are not very wide. The sewer is a little tall to make for easy use. The fire pits are so nice and a nice touch, but the ground was pretty muddy to get to them. There is plenty of wood of burn right now. The grills at the sites are really nice. The picnic tables are nice as well. The small pad of gravel to step out of the trailer was small in size and put the picnic table in the way of the camper exit. The electric plug in door was very difficult to open. Most fold up, these have a button to push to drop the door and they were sticky and difficult to open. These are all minor things that make it annoying but not unusable. The sewer height was the worst of the issues. The second major issue was the exit of the park. It rained while we were there and it held water. It made riding our motorcycles out difficult for new riders. Last major difficulty was the renting process it was confusing and difficult three sites to choose is a bit overwhelming. With a little tweaking this could be a exceptional place the view is good, the access to the highway, back door to the Wichitas is perfect, and the fire rings are super nice. That is why I gave it a high rating. It has so much potential!! “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
Wonderful and quiet place, our outlet box wasnt working so we ran our cord over to the empty spot next to us and let the owner know and said they would get it fixed asap. Very nice shower house very friendly atmosphere. We will definately go back
Quiet Place and closed to all attractions. Owners are so responsive to any concern.
