Love this spot. We’ve camped here 4+ times and it’s always super quiet and peaceful. close to both Beaufort and hunting island area. The bath house is clean, they have laundry,ice and firewood if you need it. The folks that run this place are so nice! glad to have found this gem Tucked In the woods.
It's a campground...tucked in the woods.. rvs are filling the park here during the nice weather times and many folks here appear to be full time or long term campers. Quiet, respectful rv owners and park management is always running around doing maintence.
We enjoyed our tent camping experience. The bathhouse stayed clean always. And the water was hot. Loveddddd my experience connecting with nature here. The fire pit was the best part. There’s wood for sale here also reasonable price.
We’ve been coming down here for 10 years during March. Quiet, peaceful, reasonably priced and friendly.
Close to home but feels far away.. it is quaint and small . Although I think some people live there year round. It is still a nice place . Playground needs updates
