Customer Reviews
We had stayed at Twin Bear Campground for a weekend. We had an amazing time with an amazing view of the lake. The owners of the location are SUPER friendly and helpful. We got stuck at a boat launch and we needed help getting out, and they came to help us no problem! We would definitely come back as we felt super comfortable and safe there. They also offer free wifi at the campground! The showers and bathrooms are super clean as well! Overall, we loved the place and had a fantastic time!! Definitely recommend :)
This campground is absolutely amazing! Brenda is very friendly. If you make a reservation to a site that you've never been to, and you want to check out other available sites better suited for your set up, Brenda is very considerate. There is bathrooms, and showers available. This is one of those old fashioned type of campground that we need in this day and age!
Host waa knowledgeable and extremely friendly. She is a snowbird knows everything on the campgrounds. Showers were great. Wish they had dumping site on premise of lot we would do seasonal rental. We had issue with one barking dog all weekend at seasonal site one family takes most seasonal spots. Otherwise everyone was very respectful. Our neighbors by us were seasonal lakeside they were nice. My family grew up in Oulu and Brule. So for our first time we lived it and want to get to know area lakes. Our places were burned in Minnesota side fires. Plenty to accommodate all. I will say they stay there's a " store" on site. Not correct. You can buy wood there. No swimming area.we will be back.
I ABSOLUTELY am in LOVE with this place!!! First off, Brenda is beyond AWESOME and AMAZING!!! She is so friendly and helpful with whatever you need or if you forget something…(like we did). She doesn’t get enough credit for all that she does at the campground!!! Our campsites (we stayed twice) were beautiful and perfect for setting up a tent and having a cozy campfire!!! The bathrooms and showers are super clean and super conveniently located!!! I could keep going on and on and on…highly recommended staying and we will return multiple times because of Brenda and the wonderful times we had staying at the campground!!! Thanks again Brenda for EVERYTHING…can’t wait to make a reservation next spring 😃
Phenomenal! We had a small site on the lake. Last one with power. Out of Wi-Fi range but secluded and quiet. Brenda was very friendly and easy to work with as we wanted to stay an extra night. Fishing from the shore was AWESOME, lots of good sized pan fish and some little bass. The bathrooms are pit toilets but are probably THE CLEANEST I have ever seen. As pleasant as you could hope for a pit toilet. The showers were clean, (few bugs but come on its a campground ) the water was good and warm and the pressure was good. We are kid less but there is a nice playground for munchkins. Very very nice place and even with rain we had an excellent weekend. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is in the area!
