The campground is perfect for transient campers along the creek. Tom who I met and Niki who I only spoke to were as friendly and welcoming as you would hope to expect. The grounds are well maintained and although my kids are grown there are plenty of toys to keep them entertained. As a transient I was most impressed with the shower facilities, spacious, clean great pressure with endless hot water. If your passing through or to fish as I am , don't pass this up. Booked an overnight stay as a new (again) tent camper. The campground was very quiet and peaceful midweek. Wasn't sure if I wanted a fire and when I returned from my day trip there was a pile of wood at my site!! How thoughtful!! Nice big sites next to the creek. The bathhouse is spacious, clean, good water pressure with hot water. Will definitely return!! Highly recommend!!

I so enjoyed my stay here. Tom is amazing and so laid back. I love that the place isn’t covered with signs of rules. I guess it’s just expected that folks will be respectful of others and that’s enough. Listening to the birds and the creek was so relaxing. Great shower. Only wish it was further from the road, but I could mostly ignore it. $5 for so much wood it lasted me two nights. It was very quiet when I was there in a Saturday in early June so I had my pick of spots. Definitely would go back again if I’m in the area!

A very well kept quiet Campground, modern bathrooms, showers are clean and free. There is a play area for children. On-site owner who responded immediately when I called and appears to keep things clean and in working order.

ValleyView Campground is truly a hidden gem, but much more affordable! It has a stunning atmosphere with wonderful shade along the creek bed, which sparkles with fireflies at dusk. The kindness of the owners and their philosophy of down-home neighborly friendliness and honor system values are uncommon attributes in today's climate. We have enjoyed our stay tremendously and will always hold all others to this high standard.
