Promotions or Special Offers

As White Oak Loop Campground is a component of a state recreation area within the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) system (specifically Paynetown State Recreation Area at Monroe Lake), its pricing and any potential "promotions" are typically aligned with state park policies rather than commercial discounts. However, there are ways for Indiana residents to enjoy value and potential savings:

  • Standard State Park Rates: Camping fees are set annually by the Indiana DNR and are generally consistent across similar state park campgrounds. These rates vary by site type (e.g., electric & water, electric only) and season (peak vs. off-peak).
  • Indiana State Park Annual Pass: For frequent visitors, purchasing an Indiana State Parks Annual Entrance Pass offers significant savings on park admission fees for an entire year. While this doesn't reduce camping fees directly, it eliminates daily gate fees, which can add up over multiple visits.
  • "Hoosier Golden Age" Passport: Indiana residents 65 years of age or older (and their spouse) are eligible for a 50% discount on DNR annual passes, which further enhances accessibility for seniors.
  • Advance Reservations: While not a "promotion," securing your site well in advance, especially for popular loops like White Oak, ensures you get your preferred spot, particularly during busy weekends and holidays. Reservations can typically be made up to six months in advance.

To find the most accurate and up-to-date information on camping fees for White Oak Loop, availability, and to make reservations, interested Indiana campers should visit the official Indiana DNR State Parks reservation website (e.g., Camp.IN.gov or through ReserveAmerica, which the DNR uses). Favorite look. Love the paved parking spots and plenty of room on the sight. Sights are not too close to each other. Alit of gravel where picnic table so you don't walk in mud. Has water hookup. Not all the loops do. Clean restrooms and shower if needed. very well shaded, so makes it nice and cool.

Large sites, impeccably clean. The roads are smooth and freshly paved. Each loop is far enough from the other loops that you don't see them. The bathroom is well stocked. Both the bathroom and showers have spiders and webs, but generally clean. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful and informative. We loved how quiet it was.
