I've visited the Ft Bragg FamCamp several times over the years. It's a great park. The RV pads are concrete about 30' x 20'. Every site is large with a picnic table and fire ring with a grill for cooking. The park is about 10 miles from the Ft Bragg commissary and PX.

We stayed here for the month of May this year in site #10. Nice campground, wooded with lots of sand and pine trees. Our site had quite a slope going back but a big concrete pad. Nice lake with a beach. Lots of activity overhead from the choppers. The laundry is horrible so we would drive to base to wash clothes. The easiest road to get to base from the campground was closed for construction so we had to go further around. The mile and half drive getting back to the campground was so pretty. Saw deer crossing the road once. The city of Fayetteville is right there with everything you need! Would come back again!!

We stayed at the campground 11/14-16/23 on our way north. Making reservations by phone were easy. There were options of back in/pull through, full hookups/partial hookups, and tent sites. The concrete pad sites are spacious with no low hanging branches or trees obstructing the road so larger rigs would have no problem navigating. Although we didn’t use them, I did check out the bathrooms and they are clean. The water area was closed for the season but looks like it would be great fun in the summer. With an ID, I would recommend this campground. BONUS: We watched and heard helicopters flying in and out of Simmons Air Field. 🥰

RV site was good—no sewer, but they have sites with full hookups. Bathhouses are clean and have individual rooms with shower and toilet. Reservation process was a bit cumbersome—office is closed Tuesday and Wednesday and we never received a confirmation email. We were directed by GPS to the OLD building (Equipment Checkout), but if you keep going down the road to the NEW Rec center, the campground signs are there and after hours packets are in a mailbox below the campground main entrance sign. Would have been good to know via an email before we arrived. Lake is nice, with lots of activities and we didn’t hear much from the air field at all. Lots of bike and hiking trails. Have to rent kayaks (they don’t allow your own). Cool water ski towing system that looks fun. Would definitely stay here again, at a full hookup site.
