Yearling RV Park About
For RVers in Oklahoma, especially those on the road for work or seeking a long-term, budget-friendly stay, Yearling RV Park in Red Rock, Oklahoma, presents itself as a practical and accommodating option. Located in the northern part of the state, this RV park has cultivated a reputation for being particularly welcoming to traveling workers, offering a stable and affordable base for extended periods. It's a place where the focus is on providing essential comforts and peace of mind for those needing a consistent and economical spot for their RV.
Many long-term residents speak highly of their experience, often emphasizing the financial benefits and the attentive management. As one satisfied RVer shared, "Really like this RV Park. I stayed for over 6 months and referred several other people ther that also liked it. Would really recommend this place. Lot rent is better than other locations around the area, and the electric is cheap. The RV camp really caters to workers that are on the road." This highlights two significant advantages: competitive pricing on lot rent and low electricity costs, which are crucial for extended stays and budgeting.
Furthermore, the park's unique approach to management is often appreciated by its residents. The presence of a live-on-site "camp mom" who maintains "great communication" is a recurring theme. This personal touch includes flexibility with rent payments (with prior notice) and considerate communication regarding any necessary work around RVs, such as changing a "heat light bulb where you connect you hose." This level of active, communicative management can be a significant comfort for those living on the road.
Yearling RV Park is located at 23510 Yearling Rd, Red Rock, OK 74651, USA. Red Rock is a small town situated in northern Oklahoma, specifically in Noble County. This location places it within a region that is often frequented by those working in industries such as oil, gas, agriculture, or construction, making the park's focus on accommodating workers particularly relevant.
For Oklahomans, particularly those in the northern part of the state or traveling for work, Red Rock offers a relatively accessible and quiet setting. The park's address on Yearling Road suggests a location slightly off the main thoroughfares, contributing to a more peaceful environment compared to RV parks directly on major highways. While not a bustling metropolitan area, Red Rock provides basic services, and larger towns like Ponca City or Stillwater are within a reasonable driving distance for more extensive shopping, dining, or specialized services.
The accessibility is geared towards those who prioritize a long-term, stable base over immediate access to major tourist attractions. For workers, this means a manageable commute to job sites in the surrounding areas and a quiet place to return to at the end of the day. The journey to Yearling RV Park is generally straightforward, navigating typical Oklahoma rural roads, making it easy for RVs of all sizes to access. Its position in northern Oklahoma makes it a practical consideration for anyone needing extended lodging in that region.
Yearling RV Park offers essential services tailored to long-term residents and traveling workers, ensuring a comfortable and practical stay. The park’s focus is on providing reliable infrastructure and a supportive living environment.
- Full Hookup Sites: The park provides sites equipped with full utility hookups, including electricity (likely 30 and 50 amp service), water, and sewer connections. This is crucial for RVers living on-site, allowing for the full use of their RV's amenities.
- Competitive Lot Rent: A significant service highlight is the "better than other locations around the area" lot rent, making it an economically attractive option for extended stays.
- Affordable Electricity: As noted by a resident, the "electric is cheap," which is a major financial benefit for RVers, especially during hot Oklahoma summers or cold winters when HVAC use is high.
- On-Site Management/Support: The presence of a "live on site 'camp mom'" who maintains "great communication" provides residents with direct support for rent payments, maintenance issues (like changing a heat light bulb), and general inquiries, ensuring a responsive and personal touch to management.
- Flexible Rent Payment: The management's willingness to accommodate rent payments if a resident is "out of town when it is due," provided advance notice is given, showcases a practical and understanding approach for traveling workers.
Beyond the core services, Yearling RV Park offers several key features and highlights that enhance the safety, security, and overall appeal for its residents, particularly those seeking a long-term or worker-friendly environment.
- Catering to Workers on the Road: This is a primary feature. The park's policies and atmosphere are specifically designed to accommodate the needs of traveling workers, offering stability and flexibility that might not be found in transient campgrounds.
- On-Site Tornado Shelters: A crucial safety feature for residents in Oklahoma, the presence of "several tornado shelters on site" provides invaluable peace of mind during severe weather events. This demonstrates a strong commitment to resident safety.
- Regular Police Presence: Unusually for an RV park, local "police drive by a couple of times a day," which is highly appreciated by residents for providing "added additional peace of mind." This enhances the security of the park significantly.
- Open Land/Spaciousness: One review mentions "the open land," suggesting that the park offers more space and a less cramped feel compared to some other RV parks, allowing for a more comfortable living environment.
- Quiet Atmosphere: While not explicitly stated in all reviews, the nature of a park catering to long-term residents often implies a more settled and quieter atmosphere than a transient campground.
It's important to note that while many residents find these features highly beneficial, a contrasting review mentioned severe issues with management and privacy, including alleged entry into an RV without permission and inappropriate comments. Prospective residents should verify current management practices and ensure they align with their expectations for privacy and respect.
As a long-term RV park catering primarily to workers, Yearling RV Park's "promotions" are often embedded in its pricing structure and policies rather than traditional discounts. The main draw is consistent affordability and flexibility. Prospective residents should inquire directly about:
- Competitive Monthly Rates: The core "offer" is the appealing monthly lot rent, which is described as being "better than other locations around the area." This provides significant cost savings for extended stays compared to nightly or weekly rates.
- Low Electricity Costs: The "cheap electric" is a major financial benefit, acting as an ongoing saving for residents, especially in Oklahoma's variable climate.
- Flexible Payment Terms: The accommodation for delayed rent payments (with prior notice) is a form of flexibility that serves as a valuable offer for traveling workers whose schedules might be unpredictable.
- Referral Program (Implied): The fact that a resident "referred several other people" suggests a positive word-of-mouth environment, which may sometimes translate into informal referral benefits, though this is not a guaranteed promotion.
To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on rates, utility costs, and any specific terms for long-term stays, direct contact with the park management via phone is highly recommended. This will allow potential residents to discuss their specific needs and confirm all aspects of the park's offerings.
For inquiries, availability, or to discuss long-term residency at Yearling RV Park, you can reach them using the following contact information:

- Phone: (925) 518-4328
- Mobile Phone: +1 925-518-4328
When contacting the park, it's advisable to inquire about their current monthly rates, specific hookup details, and any park rules or expectations for long-term residents. Direct communication will provide the most comprehensive and personalized information for your stay.
Yearling RV Park is particularly well-suited for locals in Oklahoma who are either traveling for work or seeking an affordable and stable long-term base for their RV. Its primary advantage for Oklahomans lies in its cost-effectiveness, offering competitive lot rent and notably cheap electricity, which are significant financial benefits for extended stays in the state's climate. This makes it an excellent option for those looking to minimize living expenses while on the road or settling in for a season.
Beyond the financial benefits, the park's focus on catering to workers provides a practical and understanding environment. The flexibility with rent payments (with prior notice) and the proactive communication from the on-site "camp mom" regarding park maintenance demonstrate an accommodating approach that resonates with the needs of those with less predictable schedules. Furthermore, the crucial safety features, such as on-site tornado shelters, offer invaluable peace of mind, a significant concern for residents in Oklahoma's unpredictable weather patterns. The added security of regular police patrols further enhances the feeling of safety within the park, a unique and highly appreciated feature.
While some past concerns about privacy and management interactions have been raised, the overall consensus from many long-term residents points to a positive experience centered around affordability, stability, and a focus on essential services. For any Oklahoman seeking a budget-friendly, secure, and worker-friendly RV park for an extended period in the northern part of the state, Yearling RV Park presents itself as a practical and viable option worth considering.
Customer Reviews
Really like this RV Park. I stayed for over 6 months and referred several other people ther that also liked it. Would really recommend this place. Lot rent is better than other locations around the area, and the electric is cheap. The RV camp really caters to workers that are on the road. They have a live on site "camp mom" that has always had great communication with me. Rent was never a problem if you are going to be out of town when it is due of you let her know in advance. When there was a weather issue or needed to do something around your RV she wound always ask for permission or let you know (like change a heat light bulb where you connect you hose. The police drive by a couple of times a day which is very nice. Something that is not typical of RV places I have stayed in. Added additional peace of mind. Also worth noting is they have several tornado shelters on site for safety.
Only thing good about this place is the price to stay and the open land. Other than that I wouldn’t really recommend the place. The management won’t give you privacy. There was no peace the landlord went in our camper when we were gone to snoop around was snooping through our stuff and it was all on our ring camera. Didn’t feel like it was a good place to be. The native police know her for those kinda reasons. She told me and my wife our son was a mistake and how we don’t deserve him. I wouldn’t recommend going to this campsight
management was awful, no privacy from the campground owner. ALWAYS DRAMA. campground needs new management. we couldn’t be outside around the fire pit without management coming and saying we are “gossiping”. apparently you can get kicked out from gossiping lol. all of our neighbors had issues. beware of karen
We have traveled with my husbands work all over the US and stayed at many RV parks, this is by far one of the best. I can’t believe anyone would even complain about this park. It’s very clean, well kept, and peaceful, the owners and Roni, the manager, are all super sweet and easy to deal with. The laundry is very well kept and the rent is extremely affordable. The road is dirt from the highway to the park, and although it’s dusty, it’s maintained well. As far as the rules go, all RV parks have rules, if they didn’t then they would end up like several of the RV parks around that area. Thank you all so much for the pleasant stay!!!
The staff are very pleasant to deal with and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. The facilities are clean and orderly, the grounds are well kept and the outdoor pavilion and play ground for the children are safe. I'd recommend this RV park over any other in the area.
