Customer Reviews
Our little family had the best time here at the Yogi bear Jellystone park located in Bremen, GA! The location was peaceful. There were so many fun filled kid and family activities throughout the entire days! We stayed in one of the cabins here, and it was very accommodating! The staff members here, especially Roger Manning, were amazing and so friendly to our whole family! True southern hospitality! Definitely recommend this camp ground to any families looking to find a nice little getaway. Thank you to all the staff members who made our first time here extra special. We will for sure return!
Been here a while now leaving soon. I’ve read the reviews from others before I booked. People it’s not that bad. Yes it does seem they’re spending money on other things and have turned there backs on the existing park but I truly believe that this is not the staff at the parks fault at all it’s higher up. It does seem that someone some where is getting the message because you can see repairs being made everywhere. The roads going in and around the campgrounds are rough and the trees do have roots all over but that what trees do. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Nice laundry room. Nice size dog park people need to clean up after there dog. The amphitheater is sloped but so are movie theaters that’s so your not looking at the back of some else’s head which makes since right? Not sure if they showed movies or not while I was there. Looked like the putt putt course was being repaired was a few people playing putt putt. The activities while I was here ran on time on the days it didn’t rain. On Saturday the hey hey hey ride went through the kids had water gun shooting water at campers and most campers where using there hose to wet the kids back. Train ran while we were there. Pieces of the train were not parked all over. I don’t have any kids so non of that mattered to me. But I am going to get me a tie dye t shirt. There does seem to be a lot of golf carts parked all over. The staff and park office people were really great. The pool was clear as a bell but cold. Once again I do not think the problem there having is the staff. It’s higher up
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.0 out of 5) Review subject to change with future visits. Our recent weekend at Camp Jellystone in Bremen, Georgia was a memorable and enjoyable experience. While there are a few areas still developing, I believe a 4-star rating is fair and reflects the potential of this campground. Pros: The staff and ownership truly care about their campers. Their enthusiasm and hospitality made a big impression on us. The structure of daily activities is perfect for families—there’s always something to do every hour, from morning into the evening, which keeps kids engaged and entertained. The homemade pancakes and donuts were a delicious surprise—they really nailed it! The overall environment was welcoming and lively. Both the staff and the fellow campers added to the charm and sense of community. We especially appreciated how well our family was treated throughout our stay, which made a big difference to my wife and me. Cons: The park is currently undergoing renovations and expansion, which is exciting but does come with a few growing pains. Staffing seems a bit light at the moment, which may be why it was rare to see Yogi Bear and Ranger Smith together during our visit. Hopefully, that’ll change as they continue to grow. There were a few minor maintenance issues around the park. Some were clearly caused by recent bad weather, while others appeared to be related to the ongoing expansion efforts. Understandable, but worth noting. Final Thoughts: Despite a few hiccups, our family had a fantastic time—especially our son, which is what matters most to us. We connected with several long-time campers who spoke highly of the park’s history and spirit, even through its ups and downs. That kind of loyalty says a lot. We’re excited to come back and see all the improvements once the expansion is complete. This place has something special, and we look forward to making more memories here.
There definitely needs to be updates around the park and a lot of broken things need to be fixed. That’s why I only gave 4 stars. I would’ve gave 5 if it weren’t for that. However, with that being said, my family and myself had a wonderful time. The reason our time was so wonderful was because of the lady in the activity center. She was in there by herself and we watched her running around like crazy the entire 3 days we were there doing all of the activities with the kids. She has the best attitude and she was very helpful. I hope you all realize how valuable she is to have there. She really does need some help in the activity center though because that’s a lot for one person to do and we only saw her doing it the entire time. She definitely needs a raise or something! We can definitely see ourselves visiting in the future again.
The upkeep is horrendous. Pot holes everywhere, the "gravel" site was nothing but mud with a serious drop off if you're backing in your camper. The pool was broken and someone had used a busted hose to fill it...flooding my campsite and making more mud. The water connection was broken. There was trash everywhere on my site (not clean). The camper beside me had a nonstop barking dog outside. The WiFi was so bad it just turned off and on the whole time. I do not recommend for the price they charge nor would I ever stay there again if it was free.
