For a day trip, it’s great. Water is clean, even when it’s packed there is still plenty of space to stake your claim. Food trucks are convenient. Didn’t try the bar or restaurant. This is the best kept secret ever. We didn’t discover it until the end of the summer and managed to go twice. It will be our go-to next summer. Must say there is a HUGE difference in crowds on a weekday vs a weekend. I highly recommend a week day. The music is upbeat and fun. Inflatable climber for the kids.

I came here with my sister and family. I just wanted to make people aware that it’s a private beach and because of that the staff have no training and the owner has no obligation to treat paying customers/guest with respect. Please go to public beaches or water parks, where staff is trained to treat everyone equally and be sensitive to the words you use with somebody not of your same race. There was also a little Hispanic boy that died drowning in this lake because there are no lifeguards that is why the waiver is very important to them because they do not want to be held responsible for your child funeral cost Because they are too cheap to hire lifeguards. We were singled out and accused of trying to Get through their beach without paying. After my sister explained to them, we were looking for my mother and her son Both cannot swim, both did not know about signing waivers and wristbands They still have a very nasty attitude towards her and her husband they immediately yelled at him and her in front of her children that she had to leave because the beach was closed. They didn’t close till five. They were also very rude to another Latino family for playing music. We understand it’s privately own therefore they have their own rules. it’s the way you treat people and the way you talk to People. My sister and her husband were very upset after they were singled out after their cashier suggested they should leave because they don’t want our type of people here. This is why us Latino people Black people should be very careful when supporting private own business by ignorant people that do not support diversity and have respect Or value the dollar our type of people put in their pockets. The only response the owner had to give Under my sister‘s review is they will not tolerate disrespect towards staff and that they have rules and waivers to be signed. At no point did he issue an apology For what happened to us, or our experience or for the misunderstanding if that’s the way they see it. I am also going to write this in Spanish for my Latinos, I share my experience to raise awareness on the racism and discrimination that still exist in our community Let’s not support businesses that do not support diversity and inclusion our hard-working money should not go to establishments that do not respect our type of people. I’m sure the owner will have something to say Just know how y’all came about it was wrong and your staff and yourself needs proper training. We are living in a time Where us younger generation is woke on the racism and discrimination, and we will not allow our type of people to continue to support people like you

We came early in the season and there was no hot water in the showers but we really liked the place. Nice beaches and the kids had a great time. We'll likely come back again.

They were really rude to my mom. They accused her of trying to get in their beach without paying. She was just looking for my autistic little brother who went off ahead of us along with my grandma. This was my first time ever witnessing or experiencing any kind of discrimination and racism. They yelled at my mom in front of me and my six-year-old brother and my 10-year-old Cousin They humiliated her in front of other people my mom is one of the most caring people I know She would never abuse or disrespect anyone. My grandma and auntie and uncle all decided to leave I couldn’t understand why if we had our wristbands. The argument was done. It wasn’t until my older cousins explained they are undocumented which means they are not legally allowed to be in this country. They feared the police would be involved or called to the scene so they left the beach. It broke my heart to see my grandma walk away and not enjoying her day at the beach with me and my brothers all because the owner and his staff Attitude and words put fear in her. It also had me thinking how many other Latino Beach goers Have to tolerate disrespect because of fear of police being involved and being separated from their families, My mother is a proud Mexican woman. My father is White with blonde hair and When I’m with him, we are never singled out. This whole experience Has given me anxiety. I feel Proud to be raised by my mom’s Mexican side, so I’m more sensitive and understanding to what my people go through, I’m also relieved That I look more like my dad side so I don’t have To be singled out accused Or treated differently. I hope the owner and staff Would be more kind my family didn’t deserve the treatment and attitude we got from them.
