Real accessibility mean I could swim in a lake for the first time in 2 years! Ramps well maintained. Even boat rentals very accessible. Trails are even and maintained. Truly lovely experience.
I love camping here! There's a lot of space in the campsite! The horse trails are well kept and mostly wide! There are also biking trails if you do that!
My first time at this campground was really nice would definitely go back to potatocreek campground went with about 40 campers lot of activities also
The facilities were very nice and my campsite was flat and clean, which I really appreciated. I did feel like the sites were too close together, but that is the case at so many parks that it isn’t a useful criticism. The only other problem is that the park only has one gate open and you have to wind through the whole park to get in and out. I had to run to the store and thought It took way too long.
The CAMPGROUND is currently undergoing renovations. Their water supply and dump station are now inconveniently 2 miles away from the campground within the park. Unfortunately, when we booked we were not informed of this or that the water fill up is back where we pulled in. If you are RV camping here, you need to fill water on the way in. Whomever came up with the makeshift dump-station did a terrible job. They either don't RV or don't understand gravity and hook ups. The park itself was huge. Lots of trails. Lots of bodies of water to fish. We used it as a launch pad so we can stay away from Gary, IN and Chicago, IL but be close enough to drive in.
