Stayed here for trans week last year, excited to go back this year. As a Transgender individual it's incredible to have a safe space to travel to and exist in. They described it as, you dont get passed by, as in a city, nor do you get judged like in a small town. You're just.. around decent people. Everyone needs some place to feel that way.

I was really excited for CampIt and disappointed mostly by the plumbing situation in our cabin. We there on a chill weekend with friends. Otherwise the service was so chill and easy. The movie night was fun. We had a great fire pit area. It was just hard to handle the smell in our cabin.

I'm actually leaving this review four months later because I was reminded of campit and what an awful experience both my partner and I had. Literally only one issue. Other than that, the events were fun, people were nice, etc. But there was no curfew, there was no turning down of the loud music two sites down from us. The first night they arrived after dark, set up their projector, and played music videos and loud music for everybody until well past 1am. Curfew was indicated on signs and on the website. Not observed. The second night we went to sleep around 11. Call us crazy. My bad for not knowing my neighbors would be up until 3AM playing the same three songs over and over again. i spoke to them at 1AM and they barely turned it down. My only regret is that I didn't confront them again by yelling or crying or something, anything to make it stop. But we were in our sleeping bags trying to sleep and hoping we could drown it out with our exhaustion. Always waiting, hoping they would go to sleep too. But nope. My memory now is something akin to torture. I think the music finally stopped around 3:30, but by then I was so rattled I just got up around 4:30 and started making breakfast. It shouldn't be my job at a staffed campsite with curfew signs posted to ask visitors to observe common decency. We tried to make the weekend better by going to the beach and the cute town nearby on Sunday morning, but I honestly still feel upset when I think about that night, which is why I am writing now. Everything else was fine, but for the love of everything or anything please, please observe your curfew. I hate leaving bad reviews but it was just. so. miserable. Definitely one of the most infuriating experiences of the year and honestly really sad that a nice weekend we had planned turned into such a negative experience.

Big thank you to Campit and all of the staff for being wonderful hosts for LMFR! The campground was beautiful and you can tell that they have put their heart and soul into the community there! Walking the grounds was very nice, as they were clean and well maintained. The clubhouse was a great place to get-together with others and was a versatile space, perfect for all our events over the weekend! Big kudos to the staff as well, they were very kind and helpful if I had any questions, got me out of a pickle (more than once haha!) and always said Hi or checked in on me when I walked by! I would HIGHLY recomend Campit, whether you're wanting to experience a wonderful community or looking for a weekend away!

Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Social hour with free food was awesome. The pool is very nice and good spot to meet new people. Our cabin was extremely clean...i hate bugs and i didnt see a single bug or web anywhere inside. AC worked great, especially in combo with ceiling fan, kept us nice and cool. The mini fridge helped out a ton for food/drinks. The porch with seating and picnic table was very useful to have and got to enjoy a nice bonfire. Only negative would be our bed was really firm and not very comfortable (was double sleeper with king). Will definitely go here again. Great relaxing escape from the city.
