A Stone's Throw RV Park boasts a highly advantageous location at 97 Cumberland Dr, Lamont, FL 32336, USA. Its most significant geographical highlight, and a major draw for RVers, is its "conveniently located off of I-10." Interstate 10 is a critical East-West artery running across the northern part of Florida, making the park incredibly accessible for travelers commuting between the panhandle and other parts of Florida, or even heading to neighboring states like Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. The "right off hwy exit" description from a customer review further emphasizes its ease of access, minimizing travel time off the main highway, which is a major plus for large RVs.

Lamont, Florida, while a smaller community, offers a tranquil setting that many RVers appreciate after a long day of driving. It provides a peaceful retreat away from the immediate hustle and bustle of larger cities. Despite its serene location, the park's proximity to I-10 ensures that essential services are not far away. The customer review explicitly mentions "at least one gas station for truck diesel," indicating that fuel and basic provisions are readily available near the highway exit.

For those needing more extensive amenities, the larger city of Tallahassee, Florida's capital, is within a reasonable driving distance from Lamont. This means that RVers staying at A Stone's Throw RV Park have access to a wider range of dining options, shopping centers, entertainment venues, healthcare facilities, and cultural attractions should they desire. This excellent balance of quiet rural appeal and convenient access to major transportation routes and urban services makes A Stone's Throw RV Park an exceptionally well-situated choice for all types of RV travelers exploring Florida.

Hey there fellow travelers, I wanted to share our recent experience at A Stone’s Throw RV Park, which we discovered through the AllStays app. We used a filter criteria of 4+ stars and pull-through sites. Conveniently located off of I-10, we arrived at the park around 4:00 PM without any reservations, as we wanted to see it for ourselves before committing. I'm pleased to report that we were very happy with what we found! The park had a variety of RVs, which gave us a good impression right from the start. I took a quick walk-through and found the grounds to be well-kept and mostly level, with gravel pads. The electrical pedestals looked sturdy and reliable. Although I typically prefer to meet the staff in person when we travel, the office was closed. So, I ended up using their website to book a site, which was incredibly easy. I also called and left a message, and received a return call about 10 minutes later. We picked our spot and pulled in, engaged the airbags, and leveled without any issues. When we hooked up to the pedestal, we got power without any surprises—everything worked just as it should. I went outside and snapped some pictures of the park, and I can confidently say that we'll definitely be staying here whenever we're passing by. Happy travels and safe journeys to everyone!

Great park for an overnight or two. Right off hwy exit. At least one gas station for truck diesel. I stopped here heading to New Orleans from miami. Easy booking online. Inexpensive at $41 with a Sam’s discount. Clean. Have a few big rig spots so I didn’t have to drop my toad. Has a laundry facility. I saw at least one person entering it to wash cloths. I highly recommend this rv park for its location and cleanliness.

This is a super easy on/off stopping place for an overnight stop in your RV. Level gravel lots of all sizes and ones that easily accommodate longer Rvs. There didn't appear to be anyone in the office when we got there but we booked through Campspot app. Will definitely spread the word amongst our RV friends who travel the I-10 route.

Great location and price. Good overnight spot if you're traveling. No amenities to speak of. My only complaint was the traffic noise at night was overwhelming. The big trucks screaming by all night made it hard to sleep.
