We needed a place to harbor up for the night, and Bear Branch had a few spots. It featured full hookups and 30/50A service, which impressed me for a small RV park! The park owner was very helpful and pleasant. It's not an RV RESORT, but it was exactly what we needed, and it was appreciated.

Making my review a year too late. We lived on the campground for about 7 months before we moved to NY for my husbands job. I was pregnant and living at this site really helped with my anxiety. The ponds are beautiful. Centered in the middle of George L smith state park. Walking distance to canoeing and trails. It was perfect. I felt so safe. Neighbors were friendly and the owner was so kind and helpful. Very accommodating with needs. Even helped me get into my rv one day because the lock was jammed. A real genuine guy! Unfortunately life got away from me with moving north, having an baby and I forgot to make a review. If you’re considering staying here, just do it!

Best place to camp with your RV, manager is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Plenty of trails, close to the playground, and the kayaking ramp is so close, you can throw a baseball and hit it. We had a great time, one of my favorite state parks of all time.
