Promotions or Special Offers

Beck Memorial Park Campground, as a publicly managed facility (likely by the City of Decatur or a local parks department), generally operates on a fixed rate system. Publicly advertised promotions or discount codes in the commercial sense are not typically available. However, the campground's pricing of around "$20/night" is already considered highly affordable, especially given its location and amenities.

For Nebraskans planning a visit, it's always advisable to contact the park directly to confirm current rates, as prices can occasionally be updated. While specific promotions are unlikely, you can inquire about:

  • Seasonal Rates: Confirm if prices fluctuate between peak and off-peak seasons.
  • Long-Term Stay Discounts: For extended stays (e.g., weekly or monthly), some facilities might offer a reduced rate, though this is less common for first-come, first-serve municipal campgrounds.
  • Group Rates: If you are planning a large group outing, it's worth asking if any group discounts apply.

The affordability inherent in its regular pricing makes it a continuous "special offer" for budget-conscious campers in Nebraska.

We liked the Decatur City campground quite a bit. The tenting area is of good quality. Sites are grass and gravel for RV's. Price has not changed much in five years. If we remember correctly it is $25 for tents and $35 for RV's. Quiet except a little noise from the highway bridge over the river. Downtown only a few blocks walking.

I called this place Wednesday morning and talked to a nice lady with a southern accent about reserving a spot this weekend. She said they usually don't reserve spots but if I called back with my credit card they can reserve an electric spot for me. I called back and a different lady answered and she told me that I must have misunderstood because they don't take reservations and I would have to reserve starting that night (Wednesday.) So I called back Friday morning and talked to the same lady and she said every spot was completely full then hung up. I have friends that have camp spots up there and they just told me that there are numerous non electric camp spots open and electric sites open even right by the river. Very strange these people turned down money.

Good clean, quiet camping on the Missouri River with a BOAT RAMP ON SITE!! Only about $17. Night in 2018-19. Just avoid and check for local flooding, it DOES happen every several years. Nice choice of sites.
