My son, grandson, and I hiked in to camp at this rustic site. Sites 1,2,5,6 are equipped with hammock posts. There is potable water and a vault toilet. We took different trails for a 6 mile hike in and 5 miles out.
Jun 19, 2024 · Kriya Moon (Joyful Journey Guide)Amenities include Hammock posts, water pump and Vault toilet and the best atmosphere imaginable, fire pit next to the lake is the place to be just be careful, plenty of poison ivy
May 28, 2025 · Yitah WuGreat hike or bike in campground. Most but not all sites have posts for hammock camping. Hand water pump and outhouse are nearby. 4g data is ok if using Verizon network.
Oct 04, 2022 · Jason DuncanNice little hike in site. People at the HQ wanted me to do a crazy long hike to get in and out. I'm not about that life. There are a couple other parking options from 1-2 miles in and out. Stayed in B3. Right on the water, beautiful views. Not much privacy between sites and the hiking/mtb trail behind you. Need to source your own firewood, has fresh water pump. Fairly clean vault toilet. Will definitely stay again.
Jul 24, 2020 · Corey O'NeillVery accommodating backpacking site with direct lake access. Beautiful views. Mosquitoes were very determined. Be sure to bring the right clothing and plenty of bug repellant. Also, word for the wise, pick up a few dry pieces of wood before you get to your site. We only grabbed a couple and had to deal with a lot of moist wood at site which we had to dry before it caught.
